First time on Grand Cayman. This hotel was great! The location, the staff, the amenities, the bed-top notch. There is no ‘beach’. However, there is a stairway that leads you into the water where you can wade or use their floating mats and hammocks to relax. Pros (+) Really liked the various cooking classes that were included in the resort fee. We did a chocolate bar making class, a mixology class, and a crepe-making class. Lots of fun.
Cons (-) The actual beach is incredibly narrow. At times there was no dry beach. The water came all the way up to the wall at the end of the beach.

Pros (+) We visited a few hotels on Grand Cayman and the Marriott was the best by far. Such a great deal for clean facilities, friendly staff, amazing food and drinks, and water activities included. We will definitely be returning with our kids in tow!
Cons (-) They didn't do a good job cleaning our room before we arrived. There was a foul smell in the bathroom that was caused by mildew from the previous guest's wet clothes from beach/pool.
