Pros:Staff was friendly. My husband made the reservation in his name when the car was for me. So, we cancelled the reservation in his name and put it in mine; otherwise, we would have to pay extra to add a driver which an increase in price wasn't disclosed until I asked. They honored the original price. However, since it was prepaid, the staff said it would take several weeks for a refund. We will monitor our credit card and dispute the charge if it isn't removed from my husband's account. I just hope we don't have to go to that trouble and the refund will go through as it should.Cons:When we were going over the car, it was dirty. The Hertz staff said she had nowhere to get the car washed. What? So, I am driving a dirty car in a time businesses are stating they are disinfecting and cleaning things better than before. I thought this was unacceptable, but took the car anyway because I needed it and didn't have much if a choice.Reviewed 7 Mar. 2021

Pros:THERES NOTHING GOOD To SAY ABT THIS LOCATIONCons:FIRST OF ALL THE AGENT WAS VERY RUDE, HE KEPT STATING THAT I HAVE TO HAVE FULL COVERAGE INSUTANCE..ONCE I TOKD HIM I HAD INSURANCE HE MADE IT KNOWN THAT I NEEDED FULL COVERAGE, BY REPEATING IT 3X....SECOND OF ALL, I ONKY NEEDED THE CAR FOR 2 DAYS, AFTER HE HAD CHARGED ME FOR 3 DAYS, HE GOES ON TO TELL ME THAT THWU ARW CLOSED ON SUNDAY SO ITS GONNA BE A 3 DAY CHARGE, WHICH BASICALLY GAVE ME NO OPTION TO CHANGE PLANS.....THIRD AFTER BRINGING THE CAR BACK, THERW WAA NO PLACE TO LEAVE THE KEYS FOR THW RWNTAL CAR....ALAO MY CAR GOT BROKEN INTO ON THE PARKING LOT!!Reviewed 5 Oct. 2020

Pros:Worst car rental experience of my life, and i have rented lots of cars over the years!!! I should have trusted my instincts with this car rental nightmare! Making the car reservation was fast and easy through cheapflights. Everything else was a horrible experience that i wouldn't want my worst enemy to go through. My first contact with this hertz location was when I called to find out the location and the lady who answered the phone was Johnnie. Shre was very short and very rude to me, as I only asked a few questions. I thought no problem maybe she was having a bad day, was I ever wrong! The next day when picking up the car my wife and I found the location which was in a service area for a Ford dealer in Rockwall When we found the correct area for Hertz I noticed two people in a glass cubical I poked my head in and told them my last name and I was here to pick up a car. The lady looked up me and told me to sit down that she would get to me when she can, okay! We sat down and about 10 min later she called me into to her cubical to go over the details. Even this this lady Johnnie was very unfriendly and seemed like she hated her job! We both couldn't wait to get out of there. When done she said that they will bring the car in front of the service department. Twenty five minutes later the car arrived. We looked over the car with the gentlemen who brought the car to us and he also took photos of inside and outside the vehicle. We did notice some scratches all around the car and made note of them, to the man that was helping us. Finally we were done, almost an hour to get this car, which was very long time considering we were the only customers there!!! Anyway the trip went well which was a trip to Arkansas to pick-up my wifes mother from a assisted living home to another one the dfw area. We only have two pickup trucks ourselves and that was the reason we needed to rent a car in the first place so she would be comfortable in the back seat. Monday the 21st of September at noon my wife and I brought the car back to Hertz, which judging from our last experience we both were not looking forward too! My wife arrived there first and went inside to return the car. The Hertz employee johnie told my wife to wait there that she would bring her a receipt. I was already outside in my truck waiting for my wife so we could leave. After a few minutes I noticed the Hertz employee johnie still in the car. I got out of my truck and went to the car and asked if there was a problem she stated that someone smoked in the car but she could not speak to me that I had to speak to her manager who at this point I had never met. I went inside and spoke to him and told him that was impossible that neither of us smoked and we did not smoke in the car. I stated our passenger (my mother in law did smoke but she did not in the car because we made several stops on the way home for her to smoke then. By this time I was getting very mad especially when he said they were going to charge my credit card another $450.00 for smoking in the car!!! I told him to show me evidence in the car where we were smoking. He said there were ashes all over the interior and it smelled like an ash tray. We both went out to look at the car and he looked and looked and the only thing he could show me was on the outside of the car that the rubber on one of the windows had ashes. I looked at what he was showing me and I could not tell what it was but I know for a fact that we did not smoke in the car. And he kept insisting that we did. I had to leave because I DO NOT LIKE BEING CALLED A LIAR and it was best at this point to go before I did something I may regret later! So yes they charged me an extra $450 but fortunately it was on an American Express card and i immediately called them and told them about this situation and they insured me that they will fight these thieves and not to worry. Im not worried at all because I know we did not do what they said we did. but I'm still so mad, in fact very mad and will stop at nothing to tell others about the thieves at the Rockwall location of Hertz! SO DO NOT GO THERE TO RENT A CAR YOU WILL BE SORRY IF YOU DO OR JUST MAD AS HELL LIKE MECons:HONEST EMPLOYEES THAT DONT TRY AND STEAL FROM HARD WORKING CUSTOMERS!Reviewed 22 Sep. 2020

Pros:The two women who worked in this area were horrible, especially the one with the accent. On the other hand, the gentleman who worked in this area was better to deal with. I thought that I was always greeted with boredom and disinterest. These people really need to be trained on basic common courtesy and professional couttesy!Cons:I did not like going to this place of business because of the true lack of professional courtesy. I felt like I was a burden to them just trying to get my car that was already on reservation. I have recently rented a car from Avis/Budget and the gentleman at the desk was fantastic. He was extremely friendly and worked with me over the price quoted to me on the general phone line. This person made you feel appreciated that you were renting a car from him. No one at Hertz ever made me feel this way or work with me. Maybe the Hertz employees needs to be trained by this gentleman at Avis!!!!Reviewed 14 Nov. 2020

Pros:we booked this online and i put in Denver International airport it scheduled my car at a hertz 20 away for 4 of us that was a $51 uber fee. There was a hertz at the airport that is where I thought our car was supposed to be. Nope the woman was rude at the airport. when we tried to maybe switch a reservation it was going to cost $820 for 4 days for the same small car that we got for $160 at the other hertz 20 min away. when we got to the other place the guy seemed to have better things to do than help us with our reservation. then when we explained what happened his response was...it happens all the time. WTFCons:The website not book us somewhere 20 minutes away for one. Hire employees that actually want to help people and not be rude. Pros:I got my money refunded!!Cons:We arrived at the Marriott Hotel in Orlando Florida to pick up our pre paid for rental car. Our flight was a couple of hours late arriving due to mechanical problems. We did arrive at her office within the Marriott Hotel at 5:50 to find that the lady already had left for the day!!!! We also called her phone when we arrived at the Orlando airport to give her a heads up that we are on our way but she never answered her phone. We called many numbers that we could find to figure this out. We did understand that there wasn't anything they could do until they talked with the lady in question. We took yet another cab to the motel we were staying at for the night. We finally got a hold of the gal in the morning. First she was a little apologetic saying she would call me back in a while. She did finally call me back and said that she was at her desk until 6:00 p.m. I told her that that wasn't the case because we were there at 5:50 and were told from another disgruntled customer, that she had left at 5:45! She rudely said that there wasn't a refund or car and too bad for us. She then said that since we were two hours late picking up our prepaid car we were just out of luck because we were more than two hours late, we had no recourse. She stated that this was the policy!!!! We asked to speak to a manager, her reply was to call the 800 number that we had called in the first place. We did call that number and filed a complaint against her. They stated that they could see if they could find me a car or if I wanted, I could file a complaint against her. We chose the later!! Another cab fee to our condo for a total of $148.00 in cab fees. Our vacation resort did help us find a car, we were so grateful. I'm just surprised that a respected company, Hertz has such a rude person with their name behind them. On a side note, her office was a complete mess!! Pros:The location was close to me and off airport which saves money.Cons:The staff seemed overworked and uninterested in helping their clients. The car wasn't cleaned and was well used. The service due light came on the next day, after trying to call the emergency number for 2 days Hertz wanted us to take it for service during our vacation. The car shook so badly at 65mph the fenders were rattling, we stopped at a dealer to put screws back in (that were missing when we picked it up). When we returned the vehicle we explained all the issues and asked for a discount, which the return agent ignored and just processed our return. We won't be using Hertz again.Reviewed 23 Mar. 2021

Cons:We had no idea that the Hertz location was actually at a Ford dealership and we were told by the manager that their rentals “were intended for people who had cars being repaired not for tourists”. I selected this rental because of the price and because the hours indicated fit our itinerary when in actuality this location closed at 4pm and weren’t even open on the weekend when we would need to drop it off. We were told by corporate that the rental would be held for 24 hours but the manager at this location said they only hold rentals for an hour after the scheduled pickup. The scheduled pick up was for 4pm however they closed at 4pm. We did attempt to call several times but there was no answer and we were told the next day that the employees were there until after 6pm. Yet again no one answered the phone so how were we supposed to know that. They were able to accommodate us in the end but not without quite a few issues. It cost us over $100 for a taxi to take us to our hotel and then since there was no airport shuttle offered it cost it’s another hundred in Uber rides to pick up and drop off the rental. Pros:Nothing. We where denied the car after taking a 45 dollar Uber ride from Sky harbor AP to get it. I stated that a mistake was made on purchasing the rental and we had came from said AP to pick it up. The manager refused. We tried to get a new rental from Herrz at sky harbor but the deal was four times more expensive ( 1230.00) for the week. We ended up getting a car from a much more hospitable rental company at Mesa AP and they had no problem letting us return it at Skyharbor AP. The counter help was very rude to the point of making my temper rise. I tried to get customer service for over an hour to no avail. Cons:I booked this car rental for pick up at the SeaTac airport. Once I arrived, there was no rental waiting for me even though I prepaid for it. Turns out, this website booked it for the hertz in NORTHERN SEATTLE. And since my flight was delayed, I had a half an hour to get to northern seattle to pick up the car I paid for before they closed. Not to mention I had my 4 kids and husband with me. We were then stuck between a rock and a hard place, so we had to rent another car. Once trying to get a refund because of the mess up, I was told since it was after the scheduled pickup I couldn’t cancel or get my money back. We will NEVER use this website ever again. Won’t honor prepaid pricesPros:Asst at car place was a nice guy.Cons:Refused to accept card they already charged. Even with a card they would accept they wouldn’t keep the pricing. Mind you they had already charged a rental fee and a deposit that would be refunded in 7 to 10 days. Then they wanted literally double the price to keep the rental and “could not” change cards in the office so I had to call the 800 number and wait 1 hour and 17 minutes to get the fee “reduced” to 1and a 1/3 the original price and pay a new deposit. Mind you they had already charged the deposit once that I wouldn’t get back for 7to 10 days. In short my 4 day $180 deal wound up at $859 out the door. I am supposed to get half my money back as refunded deposits but we will see.Reviewed 1 May 2018
