I showed up at the airport on Saturday and the staff went home. The hours at Provo are really bad. I had to go to the next door budget car company to rent a car. I specifically asked for a 7 seater car. We had 7 people and no car. Thank goodness budget was able to accommodate us. My experience with budget rent a car is awesome. Their hours are excellent and they have staff there consistently. Would not recommend hertz rent a car in Provo. They might not be there when you arrive.Reviewed 9 Aug 2026

We received the confirmation of the car reservation so we went to Hertz to pick up the car. However, when we arrived at Hertz there was no agent physically present at the desk but there was a phone number to call the agent. I went to pick up my car and they told me they didn’t have any one way vehicles. She called another location and they said they had one. She suggested I call them and reserve it. I called and was on hold for 45 plus minutes. While waiting on the phone we started looking on line and found something on Enterprise site. We called and did confirm it was available and reserved it.
