Pros:The security personal are very pleasant and truly seem to care about the guests. Too bad the management doesn't have the same approach!
Cons:Booked 2 nights at Hong Vina Luxury due to the great reviews read. Upon arrival they took us for a walk two blocks away to a different hotel called Thai Binh hotel which they claimed will give us a "view". The room was on the 3rd floor facing buildings. Upon checking online we found out that we could have booked Thai Binh hotel directly for much less than what we paid for Hong Vina Luxury. In addition to that the rating was much lower for Thai Binh. We went back to the hotel we booked at and spoke with one of the evening staff. He said that he will leave a note to the manager to come speak with us in the morning. The next morning after a horrible stay (the toilet had a piece of feces stuck to it which would not flush away, no consistent hot water, a rooster outside wakes you up at 6am). We went again to try and speak with the manger. A girl at the front desk wouldn't let us speak to him and demanded we explain her the situation. After 20 minutes where she kept calling different people and telling us "you listen to me" we again insisted that we get to speak with the manager. When the manager arrived we showed him a number of different websites that demonstrate a significantly cheaper price at the hotel we were placed in. After an hour spent in this conversation we left without even an apology. We are extremely upset about the situation and feel as we were scammed. There are many 2-3 star hotels in the city with excellent reviews and far cheaper price so save yourself the headache and the money and avoid!
Pros:Very convenient to central city on a quieter street. Staff was perfectly accommodating on late arrival and assists with logistics.
