Staff at Midland and Harlingen were both very friendly and attentive. Vehicle was clean and provided a very comfortable ride. Drop-off at Harlingen was super easy; just provided ending mileage, parking location and keys and I was on my way. Receipt emailed to me. Will definitely use National again for future rentals.Cons:

The customer service at the MAF terminal is abysmal. Literally, non existant. The young lady at the desk was so preoccupied with her report that she had little interest in helping me. If I had the opportunity to recommend a friend to use Alamo, i would first recommend them to walk, or maybe even ride a donkey before I suggested or even hinted at the possibility of using Alamo for a rental car. Suffice it to say, I couldn't be more disappointed in how I was treated as a customer.2.8 Poor

I didn't like that I was never even offered roadside assistance and had to pay $70 after waiting two hours for a jump start. I understood the $470 initial fee for out of state rental, but not being charged that entire $470 again for returning it in 31 hours instead of 24. The attendant there when I first arrived was annoyed that I would disrupt her free time with my business. Very rude and not hospitable at all. The attendant upon my return was the opposite.
