The staff in Seattle (pick up location) didn’t honor the reservation. We book a bmw suv, but he was going to give me a 4 doors sedan, a much smaller car. His excuse was that they didn’t have the suv I booked. He said I either get a smaller car or he would cancel my reservation. I asked him if I could talk to his manager but he was rude and waked away. He walked back 5 minutes later and said he checked but there was still no suv. He sternly said if I didn’t like the smaller car, he would cancel my reservation and stated I had no other options. I once again said if he didn’t give me the suv I booked I would report him to kayak since he wouldn’t let me talk to his manager. He then realized I wouldn’t give in so he finally gave me the suv I booked. His excuse was that the car wasn’t available earlier. However, he also gave me the option earlier if I wanted the suv, I would have to pay more. The car was obviously there the entire time but he didn’t want to honor my reservation. It was the worse experience I ever had with a rental car company. I couldn’t pick up the car until 45 minutes later than my reservation

My pick up was made for Sea Tac but when I got there with 2 children and 6 bags, I was told that my reservation was for downtown Seattle, and I would have to take the train, that was not an option, the young lady at the counter took her time to help me and got the reservation transferred to sea tac, was so very grateful. Thank you

Budget did not have a car for us and we were stranded in Seattle. The pick up site permanently closed and we were not notified. We were trying to get home to my daughter who was in the hospital and they did not help or accommodate. We couldn’t find an available rental in the whole city and didn’t have a place to stay. It was the worst travel experience we have ever had. I will not be using Kayak or Budget ever again and will be filing formal complaints.

The downtown location was horrible. The guy working the counter was great. But they made me walk up the ramp to the 4th floor, walk through a bunch of cars that were parked in the driveway that were very close to each other. Then my car was so tight to the next car I don't know how I even squeezed my body into it. Hurt my back doing so. My paperwork said the car was full but it was 2/3 tank Then I had to drive the wrong way down the ramp to leave the garage. Drop off was very confusing once I got to where they were in the garage. They just had you leave the keys on dash and walk away.
