Cons: Breakfast was not fantastic and not really large enough venue for serving breakfast for so many people; room was not serviced while I was there; there were additional charges ($20 a day for energy + service + 20% tax) I had not realized I would have to pay until I got to the hotel (my fault for not checking but still a nasty surprise), check-in only at 3pm (quite late) although the hotel has a luggage storage room and they were kind enough to provide the pass to Atlantis so one could wait there until 3pm. For me, staying in a hotel with so many rooms is a bit impersonal when there are charming, characterful hotels across in New Providence but I had made that choice for something different.

Cons: Advise guests that there are no shuttles to any of the Atlantis hotels and walking is an option besides a taxi

Cons: I certainly won’t be staying here again. Breakfast options need to be more diverse and the lines when the pelican room was closed made for a longer wait time. Also WiFi kept reconnecting.

Cons: Breakfast adequate, nothing exciting. Plain white bagels, the usual scrambled eggs and self-bake waffles, limited fruit and juice. Would like healthier and more diverse options.

Cons: The Reef is skimping on the extra touches that a very expensive resort should have. For example, no paper was delivered to the room each morning. Also, you had to get the activities sheet for the day from the front desk where at most high end resorts, it is also put underneath your door each morning. Service was slow when there was a problem, for example, our TV kept freezing and it took two phone calls to get someone to fix it. But the worst problem is the Wi-Fi. They charge over $20 per day to use and it is not dependable. It keeps dropping off your device and you have to reconnect and the signal is weak.

Cons: The food is unfortunately expensive and is often just "okay." However it has progressively gotten better over the years.

Cons: Price to eat and the staff to support you

Cons: The service at this resort is very inconsistent and the staff are often unprofessional and unfriendly. Don't expect smiles or much eye contact, as staff will often talk to you while looking at their computers and phones. Complaints go unanswered. The value is also poor. Expect to pay a lot and the 15% gratuity is added to everything, even when you stand in the long self-serve lines to get little service at the end! Overall we enjoyed our stay, but will not go back. We will try our luck somewhere else next time.

Cons: Everything on this property was freaking super overpriced..first, you have an automatic gratuity on EVERY SINGLE ITEM YOU PURCHASE, whether it's a soda at the pool food stand, your meal at the buffet, or even a bottle of sunscreen from the hotel gift shop!! Yes you have to pay tip on toothpaste you forgot to bring and sales tax on everything. A hamburger and fries was $22 plus tip plus tax from the food stand. I stuck with mango margaritas around the pool and they varied from $13-$15 per drink depending on the waitress. That of course included the automatic tip. The breakfast buffet was eggs bacon and sausage and breads and potatoes, for me and my two 15 yr old boys the bill was $102.90. No shrimp, no oysters no steak. Way over priced and the buffet restaurant was being renovated so it was a make shift buffet they set up downstairs in the lobby area. Was NOT worth it. We only ate there one day. The staff varied from being super nice to down right overtly rude..it was hit or miss..depending on the person..the lifeguards tended to be friendly and approachable, the dealers, and especially the waitresses in the casino were extremely rude..asking for extra tips. Never had that happen in any place I have visited. Everything negative about this hotel was strictly financial..if you go in realizing you should plan to spend about $300 daily on food for 3 people excluding alcohol then you will be fine.

Cons: EVERYTHING IS OVERPRICED. Service is terrible. They didn't come to clean our room for 2 days (after we complained), TV was static, mini bar empty and fridge wasn't even connected. Tip is included in everything so they don't really care about customer service. No one knows anything there. They're just there to rip you off. They kick you out of the pools before they're even supposed to close. There's practically no late dining options, everything closes at 10pm. This place is for families, there isn't any night life. Everything is dead outside by 8pm. We made the best out of it and still had fun but will not be coming back here again. I expected a lot better for the money we paid.

Cons: On the down side. Food was very expensive. Not much night life. Casino machines were far to tight, so not fun to play.

Cons: Water view was just rooftops of the Barbeque Restaurant, a wilted palm tree, and a stagnant pool of stingrays and tortoises...ocean is visible only in the distance by leaning over the balcony. Too many taxes and extra fees. No screens on patio doors. Loud bathroom fan that must be on whenever the light is on.

Cons: How expensive everything was. We ate at the Buffett style restaurant and it was close to two hundred dollars for the wife and I. It was 100 for the two of us just for breakfast. It was worth it. Just make sure you budget at least a grand for food and beverages like we did for our 5 night stay.

Cons: The bathroom was making a weird sound when we first arrived, itt took them a day to fix it. That noise didn't let me sleep well for a day.. Also the food is overpriced and not that great for the price

Cons: 1. TV didn't work and was never fixed or replaced over a 3 day stay. 2. Room smelled (moldy) and yes I know it's the Bahamas. 3. Bathroom switch shorted out and all the power was gone....getting from the shower and dressed to call engineering was a trip. 4. Place is aged 5. We were greeted with left over cleaning stuff (I hope) in the toilet...made the smell worse.

Cons: For us, this is a once-a-decade type of stay. Everything is expensive and the Beach Tower is starting to show signs of aging.

Cons: The only complaint would be the high cost of food, but we brought lots of snack bars so we would buy less and it worked great. Starbucks in Coral Towers has sandwiches and fruit bowls and there is a Quiznos in Marina Village. We knew the cost was high due to importing. I suggest booking animal encounters before you go. Because of this we DID get to swim with dolphins. We DID NOT get to play with sea lion because it was full when we tried to book at desk. There is a free movie theater that plays just released movies (DVD) and they stopped during NCAA play offs and showed those instead. I can see how that made some happy, but our group was not interested in it and we did enjoy going to the theater at night. We had trouble in swimming in ocean due to rough surf. No one's fault, just nature. We read pools closed at 5pm but not correct--they were open until 7pm--beach as well.

Cons: 1 No Free internet,Internet costs 22 $ a day. Strange but true. Very disappointed . 2 Dinner buffet is too pricey almost costing 68 $, n service is not upto the standards of the cost. They did not inform it closes at 10:15 we wet late around 9:30. All the workers seemed to be in a mood to leave Asap. 3 long Queue to check in , but that's just a minor issue.

Cons: The pool was under construction I was quoted one price for an extra person but they charge me much much higher price when I got there

Cons: refrigerator was broken, not enough reasonably priced restaurants near the Beach tower, No cheap transportation. would like a bus on paradise island. Gift shop lied to us about our use of our room credit.

Cons: Cost. Bring your booze/food if you can. Have the taxi driver stop at the store on the way to the resort. Bring a cooler too. 1 out of every five staff members is friendly. Everyone else just wants to move on to the next person.
