Cons:

The car was dirty, missing a floor mat, missing plastic pieces inside. It had 35k miles on it, so I'm sure it's going to be taken out of the rental rotation soon.

Pros:

I didn't like this experience with Enterprise at all.

Cons:

The attitude of the staff. Every single one was horrible to me and even have it recorded when they lied about the insurance. Manager was a complete hateful jerk and the lady that helped us first was so rude it was ridiculous.

Cons:

Dealt with 2 representatives when picking up my car. First rep was very rude, un-accommodating and rather dismissive. It also would have been nice to know up front that if you are renting a car from out of state (which I would think is around 90% of renters) that you cannot use a debit card for the transaction. Renting a car has become equivalent to reading your cell phone bill with added charges for this and that. Frustrating experience, however the 2nd rep realized our frustration with the lack of up front information and the added charges the initial rep was trying to impose, and removed the frivolous charges. When did they start renting cars with only a 1/2 tank of gas? Overall less than impressed.

Office seemed disorganized and unprofessional. There were two other customers ahead of me and I waited nearly 20 minutes to be waited on while the agents chatted with customers. Drop off was very smooth, but pick up was agonizingly tedious.. Also, I was not aware of that. I had to go offsite out of the airport to pick up the car. I had been a Budget customer previously, and intend to go back to Budget next time.

Hertz was the only company in town that had minivans available, so I didn't have a choice on where to go to rent. In the past, I have rented a car for a full week and only paid at the most $600 for unlimited miles. This rental was 4 days, and it cost me $1200, so the value for the experience was definitely not seen. Unfortunately, I had to have this size vehicle, and no other options in town were available. That being said, the entire experience of pickup and drop-off was excellent. In and out rather quickly, and back on the road. The vehicle we received was amazingly comfortable with just enough bells and whistles to make the trip quite pleasant. One thing I love about renting is I get to preview a much newer car without buying and see if I might be interested in purchasing one a little bit later in the future. I definitely loved this vehicle and was sad to have to return it. The only other inconvenience was the location for drop-off, as there was nothing within 50 miles of my home, so I had to drive 80 miles one-way in order to return the vehicle. It would be nice if there had been other options. I definitely felt quite limited and restricted with this rental, and I don't like not having choices to get the most out of my monetary investment.

Pros:

Pick up and drop off were really quick and easy. Also, very affordable rates.

Cons:

The car I used was very uncomfortable but that isn't hertz's fault. I'll know now not to get that vehicle again.

Pros:

Everything was good except that the car shook on the highway. When I tried to exchange it there were no other similar cars available. No one offered to upgrade me. However they did offer a discount of $35 when I returned the car.
