Pros: I'm so glad I found The Palm Springs Hotel. A really stunning little place; stylish without being over the top; great pool area and fire pits; great privacy. Location is pretty good too. And Tom is a truly gracious host. Would definitely come back.
Cons: Nothing. I didn't stay long enough but that's not their fault.

Pros: to be fair: Its not Motel 6 and at least its quiet at night.
Cons: the older man who was the manager/owner/front desk clerk or whatever he was, was really ehmm.... i had asked if we could cancel our stay (i had booked 2 nights in advance) since this place wasnt close to where we had work the next 2 days farther in the area. We were rejected for that. Fine. However, the place smells like old dust and air freshener, a bad combo. We had to air out the place the whole day. And while I had tried to cancel our stay, he was telling us 'Oh this place is usually $180 a night, i dont know why you would cancel'. Are you for real? Its always under 70 bucks and for $180 I'd go to the Sheraton!!

Pros: The hotel is near a major street not too far from downtown Palm Springs; yet, it is quiet and peaceful. The room was cozy. I absolutely loved the bed sheets; they were so soft I didn't want to get out of bed. The outside is well maintained. I am definitely coming back.

Pros: The owner Neil was very welcoming. The rooms are remodeled, spacious and super clean. Bed and pillows were comfortable and smelled good. The shower was awesome with crazy good water pressure. BEST SHOWER!!!! Definitely staying here again.

Pros: The staff were friendly enough. I arrived early and was allowed to check in a few hours before the usual 3pm check-in time. The place felt safe and secure - coded gates kept out anyone who wasn't a registered guest. The bed was comfortable, the AC worked well to keep the room at a good temperature. The room came with a kitchenette - microwave, fridge, sink. The pool was clean and refreshing.
Cons: During my 10 minute morning shower, the water bounced from hot to freezing 20 times without warning. The shower didn't smell clean - small standing stall shower in an unventilated bathroom. As others had mentioned, the room smelled strongly of cleaning chemicals when I checked in: Fabuloso and bleach. It is an older building on a main highway and there is noise. My room had windows but no view of anything - a wall was 4 feet away from my window blocking all light and scenery.

Pros: The access through the slinging door to the parking lot made it easy to load & unload the car. The beds were comfortable and having a refrigator, coffee maker & microwave was a plus.
Cons: The walls are way too thin, but we had a good laugh at the snoring in the next room.

Conveniently located on highway 111 close to downtown Palm Springs and the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway. This beautiful Landscaped hotel is stiuated amidst courtyards, pools and a gazebo. From Los Angeles take I-10 East to the Palm Springs offramp 111 and go South 16 km. The hotel will be located on the West side of North Palm Canyon Drive in the City of Palm Springs.

Cons: Got to room at 10pm and it was more than 100 degrees. Left for some food and came back, still way to hot, room would not cool down. Move to another than another room and finally cool enough to sleep at 1am. Breakfast is pastry and other breads. Facility pictures are not even close. This old horse needs to go to the glue factory or owners need to step up and remodel. Maybe a 1.5 star on its best day. Beware

Pros: Location was good, nice area. Quiet, for most part.
Cons: Bit outdated. Pet damage on bathroom door, apparently someone had a dog "locked up" in there. Door knob loose, day light coming in through entry door, thin walls and tiled floor. Noisy neighbor up stairs are ALWAYS a pain in the a $$, heavy footed guest pacing most of night. WASN'T worth the $85 paid. It was more of $50 range.

Cons: There was two used condoms and condom wrappers found in one of the garbage bags I'm assuming by the previous guests... They sure weren't mine because my wife is pregnant and there is no need for us to use them... Also we had to ask for bath towels on the first night. There wasn't any to begin with.

Pros: I don't need a fancy stay when I travel. Garden Vista was great because it was clean,large room, had a good pool, and was a GREAT value!
Cons: The front desk staff were not particularly friendly. Just shy of rude, in fact..Carlos! The Continental Breakfast woman was very friendly and helpful.
