Pros: Everything about Holiday House was pleasant, from the extremely friendly staff to the gorgeous grounds and ideal downtown location. We could walk to all the food we could dream of, and other things like a theater, casino, bars, massage, etc. Laying by the pool was heaven. Good music, water misters, poolside drinks, and complimentary ice water and sunscreen all day (self-applied of course.)

Pros: One of the most beautiful hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Hands down most helpful and courteous staff. Great loaction as well, right in the middle of downtown, in walking distance to everything. My friend and I did not want to leave and will definitely be back!
Cons: We ended up getting a great price, which is why we booked this location and while the property was beautiful, I’m not sure it would be worth the regular price per night.

Pros: This place is truly a hidden gem. It's right smack in the heart of downtown Palm Springs, so you can walk everywhere. They provide really nice bicycles also if you rather use them to explore. The rooms are beautiful and clean. The pool area is a favorite of mine. You are able to order food and drinks from the pool as well. Complimentary happy hour from 4 to 5 everyday with beautiful cheese board. Complimentary continental breakfast. Everyone that worked there was very friendly and all the other guests while I stayed were very nice as well. This place really did have great vibes and an incredible atmosphere. My Wife and I had such a great relaxing time here. We will be staying here again.

Pros: My boyfriend and I loved how relaxing and secluded the hotel was. It was quiet and the guests all respected that as well. The staff was so friendly and made the stay very enjoyable. We were able to have early check in as well.

Pros: Loved the calm and stylish vibe. The staff was very friendly and attentive. There are 3 pools which was great! I did see a couple of kids there but I don't think its a family hotel. It has a very quiet, relaxing, chill feel. Food is very well made and delicious, I would definitely recommend and return. Beautiful place.
Cons: The only thing I can say regarding the room was that there was a dead insect in there, I'm not sure if the room was not thoroughly cleaned or if it got in after but it was dead so I'm assuming it was overlooked by housekeeping. I guess it happens and I didn't make a big deal of it. I know most people love the convenience of valet parking but I would prefer if the hotel also had the option to self park. I asked and the valet attendant who told me I can self park anywhere on the street where available, that is not really an option. Its just better to have access to my car if I need to get anything from there anytime I want. I just think its a hassle to have to be going to valet if I need my car or something out of it.

Pros: I always enjoy the pools and the spa services. This hotel is centrally located so that one can walk to restaurants and shopping.
Cons: The music at the pool wasn't as good as it has been in the past. I don't care for the new hotel room products (shampoo, conditioner, lotion, etc.); the George Neil products were better. The hotel no longer offers rafts to float on in the pool, people were bringing there own. This was a sad discovery. In addition, it looked as though the hotel had changed their menu again, although they were able to accommodate some of the our old favorites. The hotel rooms could use some freshening up as well.

Pros: This is one of my favorite hotels in Palm Springs for my husband and I. The grounds are amazing and it's location to downtown is excellent.
Cons: The hotel is amazing, but the beds needs to better. We moved rooms twice because our bed was squeaky and very uncomfortable. The furniture looks very nice at night, but during the day you can see all the imperfections; it's worn. I can almost put up with the worn furniture if the beds were more comfortable.

Pros: The staff at the hotel is phenomenal! The hotel is beautiful and really allows you to feel like you are in Palm Springs. Located in a very walking friendly area near restaurants and shops and set against the backdrop of a majestic mountain this was truly a great experience. I loved being greeted with a cold glass of champagne upon arrival and check-in and it was wonderful that the amenities were included in the hotel fee (wifi, valet, etc.)
Cons: We did have an ant issue in our room while we were here. When I called the front desk, they seemed as alarmed and upset as I did and I appreciated that. They sent staff right away to spray and took care of the hotel fee because due to the inconvenience.

Pros: The pool is large and clean. Manager did her best to please and make our stay better. Location is good and close to town with very good restaurants.
Cons: Last minute remodeling left tape on fixtures and smell of paint. We booked a larger room and we were asked to switch to smaller room without a microwave. Tv too small. Had to ask for shower to be repaired first morning. Worst part was hard uncomfortable bed. Update is cute and modern but sacrifices confort and functionality. Ceiling fan blows blinds around constantly. I wish she would have canceled our reservation until remodel complete and little touches added!

Pros: Loved the ambiance of the hotel and the room itself with balcony overlooking the pool. Very pretty setting. It was off the beaten path for traffic, parking and noise, but through one parking lot and a pass-through of a building to N Palm Canyon Drive and all the action! The room had a great fridge with a freezer and a microwave! 2 free waters each day. Maid service was late morning (perfect). We were on third floor, but next time I'd like the ground floor around the pool (a little shadier in the afternoon). Pool was busy but not noisy. It is an older hotel and could use a little sprucing up, but the linens were lovely and tv large. We found a parking space on the quiet street just below our room. There is sufficient parking with the lot across the way if needed, but for Thursday night's street fair, get back to the hotel by 4 p.m. to park close. Overall 4.5. Expected a noisy Coachella crowd, but the pool was quiet. They should have a notice about noise after 10pm...can close pool. Just a thought though it was not a problem for us mid-week.
Cons: Both mornings of our stay there was a clogged toilet. Maintenance was VERY fast getting there the first morning, and we reported the second morning at our early check-out. There was NO wakeup call as promised - NONE. We had a reason to be up early. When reporting these 2 things to the desk at checkout, there was NO reply. AND they took my key card and cancelled it! I said I need to get back into the room! Have you cancelled my card? The young man said NO. On getting back to the room, of course, it didn't work. Luckily my friend was still in the room and opened the door.

Cons: Just because every other hotel in Palm Springs is charging a resort fee doesn't make you a resort. This motel has outdated rooms and ours had a strong musty odor. Pool is ok, but covered up in the middle of the motel and far from anything special. If you plan on checking in at 12:30pm or for that matter anytime before 1pm, plan on paying a $25 "early check-in fee", they are going after the discount airline model...likely to charge for towels next month. Add to this the "free internet" (remember the $15 resort fee, still trying to justify it) connected for an hour and subsequent attempts failed. Good thing there is a Coffee Bean and Starbucks close by which have reliable internet. I would call this a two-star motel.

I checked in and said "I feel like I was here before" I asked if this was a Holiday Inn at one time? The great staff said years ago. It has been very updated and very clean... I felt like I was home again...

Cons: Not enough parking in the premises. Fitness equipment is not at the hotel but over a mile away. You don't get breakfast. I don't call coffee and toast continental breakfast. That's all you get, oh and orange juice. Plus you have to walk to Rudy s Diner for it.

Pros: We loved the view, the pool, the free bottles of water everyday, the short walk to many good restaurants and shops, the street fair, and the location as related to hiking activities. There were a few hiking trails we could walk to from the resort. All the staff were friendly and helpful.

Pros: The rooms were very clean and equipped with everything. From iron to usb charging station. The double bed room was very spacious and it seems all the rooms have a balcony with view to the pool. So you can lounge in the balcony with your friends. They have a fire pit area next to the pool which is nice.
Cons: Since my room was on the 2nd floor when I first exited the elevator I noticed there was some leaves on the floor. I guess because of the wind,so I got a bad impression at first thinking that the second floor wasn't kept but the hallways were clean.

Our air conditioning never cooled down our room so for the most part we had to mostly hang in our neighbors room! The maintenance man checked the air Saturday morning when they were fixing the ice machine outside our room and said the air was set wrong! But the room remained hot our whole visit!

Pros: I liked the pool, jacuzzi and fire pit. The area was relaxing and well maintained and open in the morning and evening so you could enjoy it. The location is prime, just a block from the shops and clubs. The staff let me keep my car parked for a few hours after check out and they kept a bag for me for a few hours. The staff were friendly.

Cons: I didn’t like the parking .. hotel doesn’t offer parking to guests . They do however offer valet which cost $25 a day. I was a little disappointed by the pool. The pool was dirty this visit. Also , our toilet in our room seemed to be plugged. Bathtub seemed to be a little dirty.

Cons: When back to my room in the evening and found roaches all over the place call downstairs and they didn't move my room just came to clean up they told my I was gonna get remburst but no body in the day shift got the memo so I got to pay full price for a roach room never going back

Cons: Heat didn't work in my room and the hotel is very tired and in need of a renovation.

Pros: The staff was wonderful and very accommodating. The room we stayed in was beautiful and comfortable. The three course breakfast was delightful as well!
Cons: The beds were a little hard for my taste.
