The welcoming and very helpful staff, cleanliness of rooms, and above all, the excellent location.
The room service was poor. We had a baby and we used to order warm milk twice a day. They gave us hot milk one day, watered down the other, cold another, and so on, even though every day we asked for a glass of warm milk. I guess it all depends on who is on the shift.
Great 5 star with a boutique feel
O.K., I know its owned by Hyatt but It still felt boutiquey and small with a personal touch (as if not owned by Hyatt). The staff focused on attentive service, from the front desk, to room service, etc. Its clearly part of the staff culture. There is an intimate feel as if they all know each other--and everything about you. When I spoke to one front desk person they know a discussion I had with another the day before. The Concierge was amazing and made recommendations and the actual reservations and when things were not available made good judgments on his own for changes. We felt like they know us and were watching out for us. It is not that big really which helps in this case. The rooms felt well maintained with a terrific balance of old world and new. Highly Recommended!!!!
