Payless get lessCons:Received a car that got a blow out flat tire 15 minutes after we left with the car . All the tires were very worn. And the spare was bad as well. The car was clearly beat up. After traveling all day, dealing with that was just more exhausting.Reviewed 20 Aug 2018

Terrible servicePros:Once we finally got a car, the car was clean and ran fine.Cons:The car was supposed to be ready at 11 AM. Due to horribly slow service we didn’t leave the premises until after 2 PM. There were three people ahead of me and it took over an hour to get through the line.... THEN after I was finally assigned a car they said to wait out front and they would bring it around. After 20 mins of waiting I went in to have them check on it. I was reassured that I just needed to wait out front for a couple more minutes. Another 20 mins went by and still nothing. Finally I asked one of the guys bringing cars around to look for the car we were assigned. He came back ~15 mins later and said that car isn’t on the lot and that I needed to go ask for a new car. Finally after over 2 hours of trying to get it figured out the inside attendant took a car assigned to someone else. Just a terrible experience with organization and service. They were clearly understaffed.Reviewed 30 Mar 2018

PoorCons:Incompetent at the counter. Not enough agents or cleaners. Car had only 1/2 full tank and had to tell them to fill it up before we left. Will NEVER use Payless again.Reviewed 11 Dec 2017
