Pick up and drop off was easy. Car interior was cleanCons:
There were minor scratches and a dent on the car. The staff didn’t explain or mention the damage at the time of pick up. I took pics of the damage, which I can only hope they don't think that I created the damages.10.0 Wonderful

The ease of walking outside the train station and finding the Sixt car rental office. Everything was organized and we quickly picked up our car. The car was clean and smelled of nothing9.2 Wonderful

* Little wait checking in or out. * Representatives were very hands on, even helping hold a parking spot on vehicle return. * Rep made sure both my wife and I were comfortable with manual transmission before giving us the car. (most Americans probably are not) * Requested model wasn't available, so got an upgrade. * Sixt help number posted on the dashboard - did not need, but made me feel secure in case something came up.Cons:
Insurance was more than the rental. Do your homework on your personal auto insurance and credit card benefits before booking. I probably could have gone with lower or no insurance, but did not do my homework beforehand. I do not know if the cost was more or less than other rental firms though, so not a ding against Sixt necessarily2.0 Poor

Cons:
The protocol/procedure for returning a vehicle on Sunday is, to say the least, LAME. The hotel clerk who took my keys was friendly enough, but I received no closeout, no confirmation that I returned the vehicle in good order with a full tank of fuel and no opportunity to contest charges applied at ORLY that were greater than my online reservation quoted. Let's see what happens when final charges come through. There may be more to say at that time.10.0 Wonderful

We picked up our car from a polite staff at the Saint Pierre des Corps TGV station in Tours. The process was fast with little red tape. Drop-off was even faster. Highly recommended.Avis
