It was a nice enough hotel, but I didn't do enough research and realize it was in the Tenderloin district. The area was a little sketchy, but the hotel was good and there was parking next door for $60 a day with in/out privileges. There was a coffee bar in the AM too.
The parking situation is less than ideal. Rooms are very small and heat controls are not operational. Very noisy with poor sound insulation. Decore was nice and the staff was friendly. The attached restaurant is not good Served me raw hamburger meat. Not rare straight raw.

Pros (+) The hotel has lots of character, the lobby looks like the lobby of an old movie theater. The room also was furnished in period style, with a nice view. Very conveniently located near Market Street.
Pros (+) I typically stay at a large chain hotel but couldn't get one on a short notice - the price was right and I really enjoyed taking a break from the same large business hotels.
