Pros: Probably my top 3 favorite hotels of all time, and I've been to over 50 hotels in 25 states and 5 countries. If that doesn't speak volumes about this place, I don't know what will. From the staff, to the rooms, and the service -- unbeatable. The staff hand delivered chips and salsa and homemade cookies in the evening. I mean, who does that?! Only at the Inn of Five Graces. Cons: I didn't like the fact that my smallest room on the property was the same price as my friend's suite, which could have housed both of us for 1/2 the price had we known.

Pros: location, staff were friendly.
Cons: there was no real closet to hang clothes in. The space was only 12 inches aprox as there was large square part of the wall taking up all the space. Also they had said there was a fireplace in every room, ours did not have one and we were told there was "a burning ban, anyway"

Pros: The Inn at Vanessie had plenty of character. The bed was comfortable and the room very clean. The restaurant had very good food and excellent service and entertainment. The location of the Inn was perfect.
Cons: Some of the outside areas were needing maintenance, the planter boxes were very tired, and there was a lot of pigeon guano dirtying the walkway outside of our room. The people we were traveling with had big problems with their toilet not flushing but at no point were they offered another room. Also the breakfast for this standard of hotel was very average.
