Kayak advertised a 5 series bmw electric . I drove over 100 km to the airport location for this specific vehicle . When I arrived thrifty informed me that they do not carry the bmw 5 and that kayak wrongly advertised that car.Reviewed 9 Mar 2026

Long lines at mco with only 2 agents trying to sell u everything under the sun. Drop off was strange. U drop it off at mco and they only indpect it when u are are gone and send u an email 24 hrs after saying it was no damage. What if they said there was damage ? How can u dispute it ? The vehicle was Okay. This office did not have my ready. It was supposed to be ready at noon. I arrived about 20 minutes late. I waited till 1:30 to get the car. It was supposedly being cleaned, which was funny, because upon opening the glove box, their were open snack bags in there. When we arrived they told us they didn't have the size vehicle we had reserved and confirmed. We had to cancel the reservation and find a new company which didn't have what we needed, ended up driving a jump 15 passenger van instead of a mini van and had to pay more money.Reviewed 27 Feb 2026

This location is an absolute nightmare. Read Google reviews all the same story. Bottom line you can’t rely on them to have a car for you when you get there. Doesn’t matter if you reserve well in advance and prepay. And when you finally get a car, I got mine with 16 percent gas left and the car reeked of marijuana. The worst, front desk attendant didn’t take care of what I was requesting and in need at the moment. She just brought an impromptu rental policy by telling me that as I just booked the car then there was a 2 hours wait, otherwise, if urgent I must upgrade and pay a higher rate, twice the rate I was willing to pay for. I travel a lot, sometimes I have to react from one day to another, I don’t have too much time for planning, I have never experienced this before, in any airport.
