The line to pick up was very long. Then the only card I had was my debit cards. Even though I had a photo of my Mastercard they said they could not use it so I did not get to rent a car. Budget will take debit cards so I thought I would use Budget again, They were booked, which is why my son rented a car for me at Thrifty online using his card. Live and learn.Cons:

Overall customer service. The entire staff just didn’t care. The attendant who pulled up the car was on her phone cackling obnoxiously in the middle of my transaction. The man who did the walk-around didn’t offer to help with baggage or go over any features, benefits of the vehicle. overall, poor5.2 Fair

Called a month ahead of trip and asked if debit cards are accepted. Was informed that they would accept a debit card but a higher deposit is required. No problem there, but upon arrival was then told I'd be charged an extra $30 per day on top of the higher deposit for the daily damage waiver insur.5.6 Fair

I rented a car in advance and the rental company at the airport closed earlier than their stated closing time and I missed the rental. So I had to rent another car and lost the $200 because it’s non refundable due to 3rd party rental. I will rent directly from the rental company from now on.Enterprise Rent-A-Car

Please ensure that u add additional time to your booking in the beginning itself. They charged me for 2 whole additional days for returning the car about 3 hours late. Also, the Audi Q3 is not the best option for a long drive. The car hydroplaned massively on wet road conditions in upstate NY. Seat quality and ride quality left a whole lot to be desired. Overall, I’m extremely disappointed. Wouldn’t be recommending.9.2 Wonderful

They took a deposit and it was not returned within a week, which is when I am writing this review. Spoke on the phone with them yesterday, was told they would refund money that day, but not done. An unprofessional operation - there was no receipt given at return.3.6 Poor

Good on gas. Remember, Jersey has gas station attendants. You do not pump your own gas.Cons:
2012 vehicle. Bubble on front right tire. Windshield wiper smacking right pilar. Many nicks and dings over the entire car which, as it turns out, blended in with most vehicles in Jersey... Only after you make to reservation you find out where the rental location is. Take the train to the "hotel pickup". Don't go to the "Rental Car" station. READ THE AGREEMENT CAREFULLY!8.0 Very Good
