Plane
Although Amalfi doesn’t have its own airport, you can fly to Salerno Costa d'Amalfi (QSR), which is located 26 km from Amalfi. The shortest flight to Amalfi from Australia departs from Melbourne and takes around 41h 10m.
Train
Trenitalia is the most popular train carrier serving Amalfi, followed by Italotreno. The train journey from Amalfi to Rome takes 1h 12m and costs around $26 for a one-way ticket. When coming by train from Lamezia Terme, expect to pay about $31 for a 4h 06m trip.
Car
Another option to get to Amalfi is to pick up a car hire from Rome, which is about 226 km from Amalfi. You’ll find branches of SURPRICE CAR RENTAL and Europcar, among others, in Rome.
Bus
