Hotel Pool
Check in very poor and laborious. Took half an hour, 20mins waiting and 10 mins checking in. After 10 hours travelling not what you need. One receptionist just played with folders and ignored us and she checked us out so I am sure she could have checked us in. Compared to 10 second checkin at next booking.com hotel where they essentially just handed us room cards. Perhaps partly Andorran policy with photocopying passports etc. So much one use plastic in room. Mercure could perhaps review their processes.

The hotel was centrally located and easy to find. The room was spacious and welcoming (if not a bit on the dark side). The room was also clean and in good condition. The hotel as a whole seemed to have several amenities that I did not have the time to explore, but which seemed very cool. (re: mini-golf and pool)
The beds were kind of uncomfortable. They also gave a small pillow and a throw pillow as the only pillows on the bed. I was expecting a bit more for a hotel that was rated as high as it was. The staff was a bit cold coming in, and didn't really seem like they were too willing to help.
