I rented a full size sedan for a price of $28. At the location, they added mandatory Costa Rica Insurance, concessonary fee, etc for a total of $156 for a Nissan Quashqai. I have heard about the AVIS , the best , but i am really sorry to say if you do not have stock of cars why you take advance booking . I was standing 2 hour for getting the key how ever i requested many time but they newer had listen . I have very bad experience with AVIS , I am a business man twice a month i come from vancouver first time i took your company. but very very bad experience , you should hire the soft spoken and care taken employ for public dealing . regards. This Avis location is not accessible from the Swiss side of the Geneva airport, and you can only arrive there by car. This should be made clear at the time of booking, as the only option is to take a taxi from the Swiss side of the airport to the French side, which cost 40 CHF each way- an additional 80CHF in total and considerable waste of time. There is no way to access it by public transport as it is not permmited to walk from the closest bus stop to this section of the airport.Reviewed 10 Sept 2024

The lady behind the desk at the pick up location was VERY rude and she intentionally didn’t want to help me with my reservation. When I finally got the car (after so much delay and struggle) the inside was filthy! The inside of the car had not been cleaned.Reviewed 9 Sept 2024

When I returned the car, I was given a receipt which showed that I owed CAD 477.99 From looking at the charges, it states that I had a prepayment voucher for CAD 1496.25 This was never discussed with me - in fact the rental agreement has this amount of 477.99 scribbled out by the AVIS service person So I was indeed surprised to find that on returning the car, I was charged this amount.
