Terrible. My flight was delayed by 2h and the rental place wasn't open when I arrived. When I got there first thing in the morning, they said they don't have a car for me anymore. They were rude and everything took a really long time. Avis at Vienna airport is terrible!Reviewed 13 Oct 2025

I was trying to change my reservation due to the snow tire things. The policy of BC is every car should put the snowtire on the vehicle from Oct. 1 but I didn't know that. Anyway, It was provided at the desk as I requested via the rental car platform provider but it will be great when I reserve the car from the first place via the online.Reviewed 12 Oct 2025

The pickup line took 45 minutes, which really needs to be addressed. The staff were very nice and helpful, and drop-off took only seconds, so it’s clear the issue is with the pickup process itself. I had already filled out all my information in advance to expedite things, but still ended up waiting in line for 45 minutes. It seems this is a common problem, yet the technology exists to make this process much faster and more efficient.Reviewed 12 Oct 2025

First of all, we were quoted around 500 Euro for the largest car they had for 5 people with 7 suitcases and 5 personal sized bags, which looked plenty adequate. (We realize cars aren’t that big in Florence IT, but we had a picture of what we booked). Instead, (of course) there were no such cars on the lot and we were given a medium SUV which was not big enough for all 5 of us AND our luggage! We crammed everyone and every bag in (on laps etc). All done and said, it was 1100 Euro with taxes, insurance for dings, accidents, window chips etc. When we got to the car, not only was it small, it was heavily damaged with huge dents and scrapes. We certainly didn’t need the supreme insurance for that piece of junk. In hindsight (if we weren’t in a hurry), we should’ve demanded a different car or taken the supreme insurance off and gotten bare minimum for an accident only. My suggestion- don’t ever rent a car in Italy! Trying to drive in their cities is stressful and dangerous! Most of the Tuscan cities don’t allow non residents to park in parking spots so it’s best to park outside the city and walk in. We would take a taxi or Uber next time. We actually drove into Florence, and it was so crazy busy and we couldn’t find parking and drove right back out and went to Siena instead.Reviewed 7 Oct 2025
