Pros: I did not find anything at fault about this hotel. The hotel was beautiful. The hotel staff was excellent. Breakfast buffet was delicious. The immediate surroundings was safe and easy to get around; there was a bridge connecting to the MRT. I wish I had a chance to try the gym, which I heard was 24 hrs accessible. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel and gladly come back when I travel back to Thailand.

Pros: This hotel, which, due to its location may be the best value for a businessman in Silom, was built a few years ago with great attention to detail, as it should be for a five-star property. Yet, it is now maturing rapidly, and it appears it wants to compete on price, not on maitaining the quality of its offering. Having stayed here more than ten times over the years, I can see the subtle, and not so subtle changes for the worse. The towels are fraying, the maid spends less time cleaning the room than ever, the cloth laundry bag has been replaced by plastic, the beds have began to creak, the toilet cover has been replaced with an ill-fitting after-market one, the Hour-Glass Restaurant staff is now hurried, less attentive and, at times, downright rude, and, as a result of going "downmarket," the quality of the guests has gone down as well (e.g. boisterous guests in the Lobby and when leaving their rooms at 4:30 am for the airport). It's not too late to change this ill-conceived new direction.

Pros: This hotel, which, due to its location may be the best value for a businessman in Silom, was built a few years ago with great attention to detail, as it should be for a five-star property. Yet, it is now maturing rapidly, and it appears it wants to compete on price, not on maitaining the quality of its offering. Having stayed here more than ten times over the years, I can see the subtle, and not so subtle changes for the worse. The towels are fraying, the maid spends less time cleaning the room than ever, the cloth laundry bag has been replaced by plastic, the beds have began to creak, the toilet cover has been replaced with an ill-fitting after-market one, the Hour-Glass Restaurant staff is now hurried, less attentive and, at times, downright rude, and, as a result of going "downmarket," the quality of the guests has gone down as well (e.g. boisterous guests in the Lobby and when leaving their rooms at 4:30 am for the airport). It's not too late to change this ill-conceived new direction.
Cons: Still beautiful rooms and facilities, extremely helpful staff (except in the Hour Glass Restaurant), excellent location next to the MRT station, and a 15' walk to the BTS Silom station.

Cons: The only thing I didn't like was the location, as its proximity to so many schools causes there to be heavy heavy traffic, making it difficult to get a cab to take you there after 3pm. However, you can always walk to nearby places.

Also after being stabbed in Hong Kong, they allowed my partner, who made it to Bangkok before me, to check-in and stay the night without the room having been paid for! Incredible. Our 1 bedroom sir was on the 31st floor with fabulous views of the city. Do yourself a favor and enjoy a cocktail at the rooftop bar! Breathtaking views.
Further, when we decided to extended our stay, they effortlessly arranged that we keep or same room and even provided rose petals arranged in the bed. Excellent staff. If it travels included Bangkok again, we Will absolutely be staying here again!

Cons: Impossible to book a taxi in advance,
Taxi could take a long time to arrive on the spot. Doormens speaks to drivers to give direction but dont give any price indication or request the taxi driver to put the meter. This is not acceptable for a luxury hotel and supposed to be a must have.
I should precise here that we complained to a manager and this didnt change.

Cons: The hotel conducted a fire drill a couple of times during our stay, the alarms blasting were scary, but at least we had berm given notice prior to the drills.
