Pros:The staff was very polite and helpfulCons:We recieved a very low grade gps unit it could not identify even the drop-off point the Thessaloniki airport. In addition from i could understand we received a different class car than the one we ordered. The was great but smaller than we ordered.Reviewed 22 July 2019

scam, rip off and bad carCons:The car made terrible noises from the second day we had it and staff were uninterested and said is was unlikely as quite new. I received a parking ticket on the street, paid it, but the police took the number plates as they do in Greece. Budget were completely unhelpful in trying to get them back and said they could take a month - but locals and hotel said all it requires is someone to collect from central police station. They are now charging me triple the rental rate, keeping the contract open, not answering the phone, not contacting me and not collecting the number plates. Pros:We picked up the car at midnight on a weekday. Great attitude by the counter staff, provided me with all the options for the class I selected, and offered us bottled water when we told them we have a long drive ahead of us. Also, the car was in great shape despite the high mileage (high mileage is typical for most car rentals in Greece so I was not surprised). Overall, a great experience. I will rent again from Budget in ATH.Cons:The walk from the terminal to the rental car area out in the cold. Nothing to do with Budget. Also, the drop off signs at the airport need improvement; it is very easy to miss them.Reviewed 14 Feb 2017

OverchargedPros:I was quoted one price then they doubled my charge for checking in after a certain hour when I was there at 11pm to get car. Terrible business.Cons:Overcharged and not quoted correct pricing.Reviewed 9 Sept 2016
