Did not receive notice that the rental office at Central Station Trieste closes at 12:30 on Saturday. Had to get to Pula Croatia that day. Plan then became getting to the airport, $60 fare, then renting a Fiat Panda for $420. The inconvenience and extra cost is disgraceful.Reviewed 26 Oct 2026

Terrible. Everything with the actually Kayak app worked great and seamlessly. But there’s some kind of lack of communication between kayak and Budget because on Kayak, it showed that there was multiple options available for a rental. But when we arrived for pick up, they not only did not have our reservation on file, they had absolutely nothing available to rent as a walk in. Super disappointing as we had a trip planned, and had to scramble to find another option.Reviewed 26 Oct 2026

Great gas mileage for a minivan, it was a hybrid! Lots of room for the family. Interior was not cleaned well after the previous renter, and there was a piece of carpet/vinyl missing when one of the back seats was put down to store luggage.Reviewed 25 Oct 2026

Drop off in Chicago was excellent. Very friendly agents. Lexington pick up experience was not very friendly or helpful. The car had not been remotely cleaned between rentals. There was bottle caps, receipts, straws and the previous renters paperwork were all across the passenger seat and center console area. Didn’t want to walk all the way back to counter inside to complain. There was no one in the garage area to address this with. pickup staff was very slow moving as a line built up. Once I had registered for the prepaid car, I went to the retrieval area where I waited 20 minutes before a car was provided, and that only thanks to the Asian woman (I don't know her name) who was getting people to their cars. I went to rent the car and the person told me that for some reason I have been black listed and cannot rent the car. I told them that Budget just gave me a car on rent two weeks ago, payment was taken from my credit card without any issue. They still refused to rent one.
