Pros (+) Plantains with shrimp at the pool bar. Yumm
Cons (-) Switched rooms- way musty on bottom floor. There was construction by the pool the whole time. Literally saw dust and foam bit floating into the pool. They were also staining which is not what you want to be smelling on a 90 degree day in the sweltering sun at the only place to cool down. Pros (+) Beautiful boutique luxury hotel. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Great location in Cartagena. Amazing roof top pool!

Pros (+) Welcoming, warm staff (with special mention to Vivianna); the rooms and particularly the comfort of the bed and the amazing shower; the plentiful, delicious breakfast each morning; and the phenomenal rooftop pool. The common areas are serene and beautiful, and the hotel is centrally located within the walled city.
Cons (-) The concierge staff, while very responsive and helpful in advance of the trip, dropped the ball in following thru on all reservations and we missed out on a day trip to the Rosario Islands. The mishap was apparently due to a miscommunication with a former hotel employee.
