I picked up my car from the hertz rental place and advised them my car was fixed ealy and I may not need the car for as long. They said no problem. I returned it the next day and they told me to call the number to get the refund and that it would be no problem at all. I did not get any kind of refund at all nor did they give me the car back for the time I rented it for. Out 450$. They gave me incorrect info. Had I been told the correct info when I picked it up I would have changed the reservation at that time. So I paid 450$ and got the car for only one day. When it was returned they could not give me back the car I paid for as it was now returned. This was my first time renting a car. I am not happy.Reviewed 9 Jan 2022

Cons:Car was filthy and they took two hundred dollar deposit for damages but car was returned with no damage and tank full of gas and they didn’t give me back deposit when I rented it on line it was suppose to be 268.95 they charged my credit card 535.00 crooks!!Reviewed 26 Dec 2019

Pros:The man who was completing our paper work entrusted me with his GPS holder mount to use with my phone and just asked if I could return it to him on delivery of the car, which I did.Cons:I requested a GPS and none available. Also The car was parked at the further most spot from the rental location and was raining pretty hard. There were 3 staff behind the counter and I was at that moment the only customer at the counter. It would have been appreciated had they brought the car to the nearest door. Also when filling the gas tank to return the car I inadvertently left the car in reverse and the steering locked up and was unable to unlock it. I contacted the office and the only advice I received was to call a tow service, didn't even provide a phone no.Reviewed 9 Oct 2019

Cons:Should have a direct line to communicate with the actual location where the vehicle is picked up. I was put on hold many times for a long period during my call to the customer service when I was trying to have my rental extended. The local number goes straight to the international call center.Reviewed 17 June 2019
