Cons:I was told at the fort wayne airport if i got gas thru them the charge of $30 would be pro rated in South bend based on what i used Well SB they said no no no we dont take off $ amount based on usage when all i used was a 1/4 tank so what the original fee was $68 turned out to be $122.72 also the drop off in SB was a nightmare to just to find it and parking lot dark and i had to find someone in lot to help me. finally found a guy n then he was of very little helpReviewed 9 Dec 2019

Okay, expensivePros:I liked the vehicle.Cons:When I tried to add a driver, they required the other driver to have a credit card. Not sure why, the other car rental places I have rented from just required a valid drivers license.Reviewed 2 Aug 2017

COMPLETE FAILURECons:I arrived to retrieve my rental. I gave the customer service rep my reservation and a copy of my insurance cards. I was then told he needed a $200 deposit on the car. I offered the very same card I purchased the rental with. He would not accept it. I told him I could give him $200 cash if that was better. He wouldn't accept that either. I brought my mother's card in, who was sitting in her car, and he wouldn't accept that either. As I should have been leaving town, I was trying to find another rental on a Friday morning for the weekend. Kayak had no problem taking the money from my account immediately. Hertz had no problem taking the money from Kayak. HOWEVER, NO ONE wanted to help me get the rental I already paid for, refund my money, or pick up the phone. I am 40 years old with a clean driving record, current insurance, and the required $200, there is no reason I shouldn't have been able to get the rental. I got to my destination with 10 minutes to spare as opposed to the hour and a half I had planned. This whole situation was poorly handled and customer service is a loss on both these companies.Reviewed 8 May 2017

Pros:My plane was very late in coming and the attendant was there, even at 11pm.Cons:The car had tape marks to all doors. The attendant was called the next morning and noted those defects.Reviewed 31 Mar 2017
