I've been charged for damage that was already present on the vehicle. I have photos of the existing damage and there is an accepted notification from when we picked up showing the existing damage. The incredibly rude and unhelpful staff at the return didn't listen to us or look at the evidence and have charged us for existing damage. I've tried repeatedly to contact someone with no response. Incredibly poor customer service and we will be disputing the charges. I'd expect this from a no name rental car company, but I booked hertz to avoid this kind of shady business practices.Reviewed 18 Aug 2025
