If you want car rentals at Nassau Intl Airport, you can get a vehicle that matches your budget and needs from any of the seven providers offering their services at this airport. To get Nassau Intl Airport car rentals, head to the rental car center in the main terminal building. All providers have onsite locations and offer a shuttle service to the nearby lot for rental car pickups. Once you land at the airport, head into the Arrivals Hall from the secured area. Once in the Arrivals Hall, follow the signage to the baggage claim area, and right across from the baggage claim area, you will see the car rental stations for all seven providers. Once you book your rental vehicle, you will be shuttled to the lot for pickup.
You need a valid driver’s license and a credit card to get car rentals at Nassau Intl Airport. Your driver’s license should be valid and remain valid for the entire rental period. Additionally, it should have your name, photo, and date of birth displayed for it to be considered when renting a vehicle from this location. You need to be at least 21 to rent a car at NAS, and most young drivers (those below 25) have a daily surcharge for their rentals. If your driver’s license is not in the Latin alphabet, you will need an international driving permit or a certified translation of your driver’s license. You need a credit card to make payments, and your card must display your name.
There are two main modes of payment for car rentals at Nassau Intl Airport. The first is using a credit card; credit cards are the most accepted means of payment for NAS car rentals. The only requirement is a valid government-issued ID to use a credit card for payment. A driver’s license fits the bill, and the name displayed on your license must match that on the ID. Debit cards are the second option, but these have several requirements. First, you need to be at least 25 to use a debit card for payment at Nassau Airport. Some providers will subject you to a creditworthiness check before accepting payments from a debit card, while most providers will almost always request proof of a return flight ticket when using debit cards at Nassau Intl Airport.
Car hire companies that offer shuttle or pick-up services from Nassau Intl airport to off-airport locations include Avis, Budget, Dollar, Hertz, and Thrifty.

Pros:
Nothing! Whilst the staff were pleasant the car was a wreck, the seats were torn, the front bumper was bolted on with 4screws, my credit card was charged €400 but when I dropped the car back I was told it would be 7 days before I would get the balance released back to me. The car smelled strongly for the duration, the seats internally were rusted, and based on the pictures I took on receiving the car, it had been in an “altercation” (or several) prior to my renting it. When I collected the car I was told there were some dents on it that they were aware of, however as I checked several dents and scrapes were not documented, I returned to the office and the nice lady came and visually inspected the car with me, then she added several extra pieces of information to the sheet and initialed it. As it was now late we took the car. As we drove around there was a constant rattle from the boot... the only saving grace being we were in New Providence for one whole day (it cost us $12 to fill it so we didn’t travel much partly due to the wreck we had rented. We were very disappointed and doubt we would ever book with budget ever againCons:
