the insurance you sold us on line wasn't recognized in Brazil and became a headache for us. It was easily refunded but dealing with Brazil on last minute charges not fun- otherwise all good.Hertz

Pros:
Service rendered by ths staff OK however I had a recent experience with no extra fee for dropping-off in a different store than pick-up and HERTZ does charge you for dropping off in a different address in the same city. I think this could be reviewedCons:

Cons:
When I arrived at the pick up location they’ve said that they didn’t received such confirmation number from KAYAK and that they don’t work with those kind of car “Standard - Chrysler 200 or similar”. I’ve called to Hertz customer service and they found my confirmation number. However the attendant that was in my front said that she had no car to give to me.. well after a hour they decided to give to me a SUV Duster. I have to say that after all the manage was very polite. They convinced me to book directly with them from the next time.8.4 Very Good

Our flight was delayed half an hour. When we got to the airport, we were still within the one hour limit before they could cancel ou resevation (this policy was not displayed anywhere on the website or mentioned to us during the booking) but there were no shuttle to pick us up. I called their call center on an international charge and they said they canceled the reservation and could not guarantee the SUV we reserved or the rate. When we got to their location by shuttle, about half an hour later, they didn't have the car we booked though they gave us a bigger car but no air conditioning and the USB ports did not work. Just a nightmare we endure for a few days until we decided to drive all the way back there to switch cars. No discounts for the inconvenience. The people were nice but made us feel like they were doing us a favor to give us a bigger car to fit our bags when we could have fit everything in the SUVFOCO
