Pros: Staff was very attentive and helpful. I was able to check out and store baggage until later in the day when I got my vehicle out of valet parking. This allowed me to attend a meeting without concern for moving my car.

Pros: The room actually exceeded my expectations, based upon price and photos. The bed was comfortable, the room was just the right temperature, and LOVED that the shower stall was bathtub sized without a bathtub. The toiletries provided were top quality, as well. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and had me checked in and out with light speed. Definitely will come back and am already recommending the Paramount to my coworkers who travel in and out of town.

Cons: The room size was less than desirable...even for New York City it was small. Two medium-sized pieces of luggage could barely fit into the room. The A/C seemed to run on its own; there was a control in the room that didn't respond when humans touched it. The shower curtain in the bathroom was yellow and brown towards the bottom and the tile's grout was dirty in certain places. Not to mention that the water pressure in the shower and sink was weak at best.

Winter rates are very reasonable, summer not so much...Good food and shopping with in walking distance, all except for breakfast, never did find a "good" breakfast despite paying $45 for two. Pros: This was the second time I’ve stayed at this hotel recently for 4-5 days. Both stays couldn’t have been better. The room was pristine and the staff went above and beyond to be accommodating. You can text requests for things like extra hangers or anything you might need during your stay. I checked in and out on the app, and used the app as my room key. I literally never one time had to go to the front desk during my entire stay for either visit. Any requests I made for things in my room (steamer, extra pillows, etc) were brought to my room within minutes. I honestly have never stayed at a hotel that is so consistently amazing. Highly recommended!!

For breakfast one morning I ordered room service and it arrived on time and was delicious. The pillows were comfortable. Starbucks is located right downstairs!
Cons: Two of my "clean" towels had a lot of hairs that were not mine. In fact one had a big hair ball folded in it. That was kinda nasty to find after taking a bath. The bed was not very comfortable and made my back hurt. I thought since it was firm that my back would love it but I was wrong.

Parking is not included in the price, even though the Hyatt owns the adajecent parking garage - hotel guests pay the same rates, if not more, than the general public who uses the same garage. Not a single movie channel (hbo, etc), so that you will have to buy their on demand movies for $20. Room service is overpriced and mediocre, with small portions.

It is walking distance to the space needle and pike place market and there are tons of cute restaurants around. They have bikes you can rent and umbrellas that you can check out for free.

Pros: The room was clean and the staff were friendly. The room has a kitchenette and the grocery store is right across the street. There is also a rooftop terrace. So go to the store, get some wine and cheese and watch the sun set over the sound. There are a lot of restaurants in the area and you can take the monorail to get into downtown Seattle. Also if you are taking a cruise, they have a shuttle to the piers. We were surprised that the inn does not mention this on their website. Our friends would have stayed there if they knew about this.

Cons: We arrived and the gentleman at the desk said our room wasn't quite ready. He said "I have a single bed room available, is that okay?" To which I responded, our room is a double bed room and I pulled out my receipt and showed him, to which he then gave us the correct room. (Which was very nice) During checkout we went up and told them we were leaving and then said we owe $460. I then said, "This was already pre-paid, and pulled out my receipt." He then said "Oh yes, I see it here."

Pros: Although this hotel is just about a 5 minute drive to downtown, I really liked the location. It's on a corner and easy to find, there are a handful of restaurants and bars within walking distance, and it's just enough out of town to where the streets and traffic aren't keeping you up at night or waking you up early morning. There is a Starbucks connected to the hotel which is nice. Overall it is a very simple but clean hotel.
Cons: Only negative thing I could say is that the pillows aren't the most comfortable, but that's a small thing to complain about. Otherwise great hotel.

Pros: The location of this hotel cannot be beat. Steps away from the Seattle Center and a long walk or quick bus ride or monorail ride away from downtown and Pike Place Market. It wasn't anything fancy, but it was very clean and comfortable. I also loved that they have a little kitchenette in the room, with Safeway across the street and Metropolitan Market (best grocery store in Seattle) two blocks away.
Cons: There wasn't anything I didn't like. I would definitely recommend this hotel to a friend and would stay here again.

Pros: I am a member of the presidents club and the morning of received an email to allow me to check-in prior to leaving my home town. I clicked the link, put an arrival time and how is was arriving etc.. a few hours before my expected arrival I received an email informing me that my room was ready and to pick up my key from the doorman. Also in the email were driving directions from my location. I arrived doorman had my welcome packet and I went right to my room.........slick!

Breakfast was very good, only had to wait a few minutes for a made to order omelet and the rest of the spread was also very good. Room was very nice and ample seating for several visiting friends on sofa. Rooftop deck was the perfect place to enjoy a few beers right under the space needle at night.
Cons: Rooftop deck closed at 10, could be later. No other complaints, this hotel is definitely my go-to from now on when I visit Seattle.

Pros: Room was larger than I expected and had a small kitchen area that I used to make myself tea. Free breakfast was pretty solid too. It was a little confusing at first but I love the energy efficiency that results from connecting the keycard to the power system.
Cons: The air conditioning system created a strong draft over the bed. I had to turn it off to get to sleep. Also the water tasted off in some way and the pillows weren't super comfortable.

The elevator was out of service but the staff was really helpful and I really did not mind it at all and they did not charge fthe parking fee. Pros: The motif is a great place to stay. I went to Seattle with my boyfriend to celebrate his birthday. It was the perfect location as it is in the middle of downtown Seattle. We didn't have to go far to get a bite to eat or to have a few drinks. It's a nice hotel, the rooms were clean and it was very spacious. Coffee and water in room. They upgraded our room since it was a special occasion. Overall I had a great time and I will stay there again when I go back to Seattle.

Very cool NYE hotel...they held a party downstairs that was all part of the hotel price for the night. We had an awesome time and this will likely become a tradition for us. Staff is extremely professional and polite. Right downtown, equidistant from the stadium/ball park and central part of downtown Seattle, so most things are available to you by foot.
Cons: For such a nice hotel, the fitness facility was pretty cramped and awful. We've stayed at Hotels that charge much less with much better gyms. Other than that, super nice place!

Cons: I hated how thins the walls were. I could hear the people next door sneeze clear as day and their conversation as if the connecting doors were open. I like this kind of hotel because it's not stuffed full of things that I don't need - like padded Queen Anne armchairs, oversized tvs, and bad sugary 'continental' breakfasts. Cons: At busy check-in hours they did not have all the desk staff available and there were long lines for check-in. Took about 30 min to get through the line. There were many young drunk 20 year olds in the hotel that night. They stood outside our room talking at 1am until I asked them to please go in there room. They then spent the last couple hours being loud and running down the hall banging on everyone's doors until I finally called security at around 3:30am. This is not what I would expect from a high end hotel with the amount of money they charge. At check-in we wanted to self-park (not worth the $25 more per night for valet. The gate for self-park was closed with a sign to go to the main entrance location (this causes a 6 block detour with the one-way streets). When we returned the valets told us that self-parking was not being allowed due to an event (which we were there for). So they were only allowing valet (to rip us off another $25/night). We were then told we had to go another 6 blocks detour to the only self-parking option if we did not want to allow them to park our car. I would have been fine with the location we parked at if it had been clear. The process made it clear that they made it super difficult so that everyone would just do the valet parking. Once you get in line to check in you have no way out due to the valet only. The hotel also charges very high prices for wi-fi per day. I would expect for a hotel that hosts events and such would allow free internet access or at least a decent price. For a slower speed for download up/down than I get at home they wanted $29/day. I would not stay here again and would say that it is not equal to a 4 star hotel. It felt as if they were not staffed appropriately and felt ripped off at every turn.

Valet parking for us was an additional $ 41 per night. They messed up our reservations and put my 17 year old daughter and I in a room with one Queen bed. We had to upgrade to a king (only other room available) $ 40 per night upgrade. Restaurant had good food but we had to pay 5 star prices for 4 star (at best) food ($ 48 for a New York Steak). I had the Cedar Plank Salmon, $38 for an 8 oz. piece. It was mushy and the side was small. Breakfast was better and a little more reasonable. No pool or jaccuzzi on premises. With all the extra fees and the taxes on the fees our two night stay ended up costing close to what a three night stay would have been. I got the feeling that they were squeezing me for more money a lot.

Pros: As tourists, the location was ideal and right in the middle of a ton of sites and restaurants. The decor and view were incredible as well, and I highly recommend cocktail hour in the gorgeous bar. We had dinner and breakfast at the restaurant and both were incredible. Would absolutely recommend this to friends, and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

The shuttle service was excellent although we only used it once to get to dinner then walked back so can't speak of the return service.

We stayed in a double/double room (no queens???, come on Edgewater) because the only king room available was over the bar which we were warned would have a band playing until midnight. So, my wife and I ended up sleeping in separate beds. Two adults in a double? Love her dearly but we both appreciate a little space when we are sleeping. We were unaware that the only heat source in the room was the fireplace. It was 90+ degrees so we didn't think about it during the day. Of course it kicked on in the middle when the temperature dropped. Didn't bother me much but it did bother my wife who was roasting since her bed was next to the fireplace. Don't get me wrong, the fireplace is a beautiful touch but would have appreciated a bit of warning about it automatically coming on during the night. Seemed a bit strange that the fireplaces in the common areas were lit even though it was record hot days the whole time we were there. I guess that should have been a clue. The shower head was held on with masking tape. Yes, masking tape. There were water stains on the ceilings. It would seem to me that a bit of paint and a new shower head in a room that costs $500 a night would not be an unreasonable expense for maintenance. Heck, use my parking fee for the weekend, that should cover it.

Cons: We wanted a bigger balcony. I proposed on the night we stayed there expecting a view of the Space Needle and room on the balcony to do it. The balcony was barely big enough to stand on.

Pros: the price
Cons: They staff failed to give me a wake up call, even after i went downstairs and requested in person for them to do so, and i ended up missing my flight. The room was tiny and the entire hotel reeked of cigarettes. Horrible customer service - when i asked about a close by and good place to eat they recommended McDonalds. Utterly horrible.

Pros: The staff was very accommodating to my situation, I had got into town early and they allowed me to check in early to my hotel room. They were also friendly and when my key card didn't work, they fixed it immediately with no problem.
Cons: Not a huge issue, but the motel looked like it was last renovated in the late '90s. I wish that it was more up to date and that the place didn't look so old.

Pros: The place was cleaner than I had expected. Carpets were clean and farly new. Sheets and towels clean and white. Noise was very low on our floor. We were lucky to have an end room. Staff friendly and professional. Breakfast was better than most hotels, with omlettes and sausages in addition to fruit and toast and cereals with yoghurt or oatmeal. Got great nights sleep every night. Perhaps I had been expecting a dirty place and prepared for demanding clean sheets etc, but I was surprised at the level of cleanliness and comfort. True it is an older building, but they've invested in lighting and security and staff. It feels a star higher than 2.

Pros: Friendly staff. I was able to check in early to get out and explore the city. Clean room & comfy bed. Breakfast area was pleasant and there were plenty of food options. Great location to get out and see some main attractions and to walk to the Victoria Clipper ferry terminal (about 15 min.)
Cons: Hallways (carpeting) need a bit of an upgrade. Only had a stand up shower, so if you were looking for a nice hot bath (I wasn't), you'd be out of luck.

Pros: Staff was fantastic, they went out of their way to be helpful. They even allowed us to check in a few hours early. Location was perfect. Parking was cheap. Breakfast far exceeded expectations.
Cons: The building was perfectly clean but outdated and worn. Bed and pillows felt new though and were very comfortable.

Pros: It was a very quick walk to the Space Needle and Seattle Center. Our bed was comfortable and had nice linens. Things were clean. The front desk people were very nice and helpful.
Cons: It's clearly an older hotel that hasn't been updated much. The outside is ratty and the upper floors are dark and didn't smell great (luckily we were on the first floor but I went up there to get a drink out of the vending machine). It was way overpriced the weekend we went because of a holiday and a festival going on nearby. This is not normally a $200/night hotel even in this location.

Cons: I went for a basketball tournament at Key Arena and my team lost after the 1st day. As a result, my brother (who was with me) wanted to leave early, so we only stayed one of our originally planned three nights. What I didn't like, is that I couldn't get my money back because I had gone through a 3rd party (Kayak) to reserve the room.... something I will never do again if there is any chance I will cut my visit short.

Pros: The staff was welcoming, informative and just friendly! I enjoyed the free breakfast and thought the rooms were clean and comfortable. Quiet at night and in the heart of everything Seattle. They greeted me and politely verified my status as having a room each time I entered - I felt very safe and confident that anyone I encountered in the hall was another paying guest. (Seattle is known for its homeless population.) The fitness facility also had nice equipment.
Cons: The TV picture went out regularly, the fixture in the sink was slightly damaged, and the hot water in the shower went ice cold if a neighbor showered or used their bathroom. The room had a refrigerator, but no microwave. I assure you, however, the attentiveness of the staff more than made up for any deficiencies in the facilities!

Pros: Great location, walk to the Space Needle, Pike's Market, downtown shopping. Bedding was soft and bed was comfy, towels soft as well. All inclusive breakfast had all the basics covered, and was plentiful.
Cons: Carpets were stained in the hallways, and our room. While clean, our room smelled musty, and there were spots (mold?) behind the headboards and throughout the bathroom. Bathroom could stand a refresh.
