Extremely poor experience. I have been warned that the company will attempt to overcharge for damages that were not caused by me and that are/or minor scratches that they have no intention repairing and are simply require a re-buffing. Scratches that other companies -in my experience renting in multiple countries and agencies- would not record as they fall under generally accepted standards. I was recommended by friends to do a walk-around and video-record the condition of the car in great detail. Unfortunately I didn’t do that as I found no significant damages. When I picked up the car, there was no one available to check the car’s condition and when I dropped it off the agents said there is no need for him checking as he believed me there were no issues to report. Next day I received and invoice already charged to my card for damages I didn’t cause. Next invoice for rental with multiple VAT that are not applicable to non-EU residents and were not disclosed at the time of pickup. I would never go back to this company in Hungary.
