Pros:I like the fact that the car was clean in mint condition. Most of all the sales staff was genuinely nice giving excellent customer service. I don't know how to improve on that. The only thing I disliked was I chose not to fill the tank because I was not the person or organization paying for the rental transportation. Yet upon returning the rental to the airport I was charged and saddled with unexpected cost that I want reimbursed. I had a flight to make so I could not take any time to remedy this mistake. Disappointed Alamo couldn't downgrade this to a carCons:I won't use pre-pay Alamo again since I couldn't downgrade to a cheaper car (I no longer needed a pickup). It's ridiculous that I ended having to pay for something I didn't need just because I prepaid.Reviewed 30 May 2017

MehPros:Car was ok, staff I dropped it off to was fine.Cons:I felt the pickup was terrible- as soon as I approached the counter, I felt like the associate treated me with disdain. She tried to convince me to upgrade to a truck or SUV repeatedly instead of the economy car I had requested. She asked "Where will you be parking the car this evening?", and when I told her that I would be staying with my sister, she asked what part of town that was. I noticed some scratches on the car, and noted that the paperwork didn't have any listed. I took pictures of the scratches and when tried to show her how big they were, she kept asking "Where was the scratch? Was it bigger than a dollar?", and refused to look at the pictures (which I felt were quite good, and demonstrated the size, shape and location of each scratch). I realize that some of the scratches may not have been "as big as a dollar" but I feel that metric is really poorly designed. Bigger than a dollar how? In area? Length? Width? Many were longer than a dollar, and a large scuff present on the trunk lid was bigger in area. Anyway, it wasn't a huge waste of time, but she obviously wanted me out the door as soon as possible. I just didn't want to be blamed for damage I didn't cause.Reviewed 28 May 2017
