I pre-booked a Mercedes A-Class, but when I arrived, they gave me an Audi A3 instead. The car was not very clean, and although it was a hybrid, the battery was not charged completely. It also had no rearview camera, and the key fob battery was almost dead. After four days, I went back to report the issues, but the manager told me to go and exchange the key fob battery myself. I came on vacation to relax, not to spend my time dealing with problems that should have been handled by the rental company. In my opinion, this was very poor customer service. Another issue was the fuel. I received the car with about 90% fuel, showing a range of around 650 km. I returned it with the same fuel level and the same estimated range, yet they still charged me an extra €25 for fuel, which made no sense. Overall, I had a disappointing experience. I paid over €1,200 for a 10-day rental and expected much better service. The car was not clean, had an unpleasant smell inside, and did not match the vehicle I originally booked. But transfer from Air port to car and back way fast and nice, thanks for this!Reviewed 23 July 2026

Pickup was okay. Car was VERY dirty on the inside. We attempted to extend our rental one day as we were driving the 8hours back to Oslo. We tried calling directly on the envelope they gave us and the call wouldn’t go through. We tried multiple times. Finally called the call centre for budget, got through to someone who quoted us $170 can to extend a day, they then put us through to the rental counter but they wouldn’t answer and we were disconnected. We tried calling again and when we finally got through they said the price was $240 Canadian and they couldn’t do anything. Then they threatened us if we dropped off late we would be charged. The woman was incredibly rude, ignorant and simply a jerk. We drove straight to the airport to drop off and when I went inside, I told the man what had happened, and before I know it he passes me the keys back and tells me he took care of it, it’s extended a day…. All smug like he wanted a pat on the back for being such a good boy. Well guess what, it was NOT helpful. I asked him how much it was going to be in Canadian to extend…. $440 Canadian dollars!!!! Are you effing kidding me, you stupid little man child??!?!!?! You think you did a good job? My rental for almost a week was lot much more than that and you think I want to extend when the price magically went up multiple times in the last 3 hours I tried contacting you and kept being disconnected because you wouldn’t answer your phone!?!?!?? So he refunded the money he put through on my card that I did NOT authorize, so when both transactions go through, because of the exchange rate, it will cost me money for his idiocy. The front desk was really efficient and super polite. He even gave us info about gas stations etc. The pickup was efficient as well. They are the closest to terminal and have a staff member 24/7 at the pickup location as well. Car was in excellent condition. To compare with Hertz next to them: - they don't upsell (Hertz even forced an "upgrade" to a worse car on me because I was 1h late to pick up due to flight delay). I actually requested an upgrade and they only charged 5 euros/day vs try to force me into a more expensive car - they don't nit-pick on scratches etc AND they inspect on the spot (vs surprises after) - Super polite.Reviewed 22 July 2026

No same-day rental. I booked six hours in advance, and the reservation went through once I landed and went to the kiosk, only to find out there was no car available because they don’t do same-day rentals.Reviewed 22 July 2026
