Cons:Our plane was delayed by a mechanical problem. I called budget to tell them it wasn’t certain we would pick up that night but would be on the first flight out in the morning and pick up our rental then. On the first call I was told no problem. The second call to confirm we had missed our connection I was told that Budget would not hold the car, that we would need to modify the reservation, which would cost an additional $200+ in spite of having the car one fewer day. I called back several times to see if a manager would help me to no avail. We ended up making a reservation with Alamo for less than our original one with Budget. Budget should have done the right thing and held the car til the next day at no extra cost.Reviewed 30 May 2021
