Cons:
The staff at the location did not have a car available for me and I was never made aware. I called to see if it would be ready early and that’s when I was informed of the issue. They had to go get one from the airport which resulted in me picking up my car 3 hours late and even then they never assured me it would be there they just kept saying to show at 3 and they would see what they could do2.0 Poor

The reservation was accidentally made at downtown but was supposed to be at the airport. When I arrived the agent said he would be able to switch the reservation and "take care of everything". I had to pay a little more, which was not ideal but tolerable. Three days after I picked up the vehicle I got an email from Avis saying they were going to charge me $50 "no show" fee. I called Avis helpline and it took over 1.5 hrs on the phone to correct the problem. Why I had to wait on hold for 30 min for a supervisor to fix the situation is beyond my comprehension.2.0 Poor

The first car we were assigned was very difficult to find, and when we did, it was dirty and there was no key in it. When we asked about the key to someone walking by, he looked for a few seconds and then said "huh. I don't know." and then just walked away. The second car we got was cleaner and worked well.2.0 Poor

I rented a van from Sixt for 5 days. My family was traveling from Denver into the mountains after arriving to the airport. We had to take a train downtown because the booking was not made for the airport. I had called to change this, but they told me it was not possible.... the day we arrived they confirmed the car was ready for pickup. We arrive by 430pm and they inform me there is a hold on my account. I asked what this meant and they informed me ‘they have no access to see why there is a hold and they also would not be able to give me the rental car.’ They told me ‘I had to contact their corporate customer service to resolve this issue’ - but they were closed because it was Sunday afternoon. They left us stranded downtown with no rental car and no explanation as to why they wouldn’t give us the car we prepaid for and had confirmation of reservation.2.0 Poor
