Not greatCons:When I got there I was told I had to pay for compulsory insurance that cost more than the rental. The car interior was very smelly and generally unclean and the staff refused to give me a return receipt because I hadn't taken a note of the mileage when I parked up - something I was not asked to do on collection. It also wasn't clear that I was renting from the French side of Geneva airport which is damn near impossible to find and incurs a further 40€ tax to travel on the road near airport. Terrible dropoffCons:My return flight was at 6:00 am on the Swiss side. In the order I specified the car's return time 3-00 am (French side). The invoice issued to me also indicated 3-00 am. As it turned out, you can return the car only by one single road, which starts far from the terminal and nowhere in any sign "car rental returning" is indicated. Moreover, if you found a road (for example, remembered it when you took the car), you can not get in there from 24-00 to 4-30 am. At this time the road is closed with a gate. Thus, you can get in there only at 4-30 am. Next you have to unload all the things and together with them go up to the second floor, leave the keys in the drawer. Next, you have go through narrow labyrinths with things to the first floor in the baggage claim area and go to the arrival hall. Next, you have go up to the second floor to check in for a flight and hand over your luggage, including an oversized one. Next you have to pass the inspection and passport control. Next, you have find the correct gate to your flight. And yes, your plane can already was flew to this moment, because the flight is at 6 am. The fact that the road opens only at 4-30 am, despite the fact that everywhere in the documents indicated the time of delivery of the car at 3-00 am, no one warned. No one offered a return map to return the car and it does not exist on the site. I with my family and a lot of ski baggage were in time to my flight only because, after understanding all this carelessness, I took the only right decision in this situation. I first checked in for the flight and drop off the luggage (registration starts at 4-00 am) and additional paid for parking at the airport, and then went to return the car. I do not advise anyone to rent a car on the French side!Reviewed 1 Apr. 2018

Bait and switchCons:Set apart how impossible to find the counter is (there was nothing in the booking through kayak that indicated the rental was in the French sector of the airport), we ended up paying more than double what was quoted. Even though it was January in Switzerland, they said that there is an option for a car with snow tires, but we had booked a car not specifying snow tires. There is no such option on kayak. To get a car with snow tires (necessary since we were there to go skiing in the alps), the cost was more than double. The guy behind the counter was pushy, disdainful, unhelpful and rude. In a bizarre moment, he said that we needed to wait ten minutes while he went behind the wall to change his pants. I’m not joking. Car rental from Geneva to Paris airportsPros:The car handled beautifully -- smooth, compact, and had sufficient power. Staff in Geneva Cointrin and Paris CDG were friendly and professional.Cons:GPS was not as clear as I would have liked. Ended up using my phone.
