Cons: I hate the insurance rip off every time in the uk. We purchased insurance at the time of booking the car, only to be told at the pick up that we could not take the car unless we took additional insurance directly with europcar.
All this after an overnight flight with a long journey ahead. I hate it!
Pros: Staff friendly; car was new and clean.

Cons: Europcar in London told me that Rentalcars.com is an American website that only covers insurance for American and Canadian residents. Although the full cost of rental was £80, they forced me to pay an extra £168 for extra insurance before they let me take the car.
Pros: The staff (Rodney) was very helpful and efficient.
Cons: Booked a car for £50, including taxes/fees, but after arriving (and waiting for almost an hour while the one attendant dealt with another customer’s reservation) we were told it was actually £190 due to additional insurance and various other fees. Cancelled on the spot and left!
Pros: The lady who served me when I picked up my car was incredibly helpful, understanding and patient. She made the whole experience amazing

Cons: Took about an hour to check in and there were only two people in line in front of me and I was there during weekday business hours. Despite listing that they offer baby carseats, no one from that department was there so they couldn’t offer us one. Manager ignored us as he was too busy.

Cons: Extras such as booster seat and second driver are expensive, as is insurance. Basic rate quickly escalated.

Cons: Beyond taking more than an hour to actually be waited on, the customer service rep constantly tried to up sell to larger car, more insurance, gps, etc.. I finally told them I just wanted car I reserved and was told I had to buy their insurance. I left and went to Budget rent a car and was serviced and in a car within an hour. Won’t consider Eurocar ever in future needs.
Cons: Europcar refused to honor insurance purchased through a third party. Total rental costs ended up double the original quote.
