I was not texted a pickup spot, there were no suvs left in gold slots even tho I was told to choose one from there, car I did get from another area had not been washed. I was just left to stumble around until I went back to the office. Ver6 poke experience.Reviewed 23 Mar 2025

Pick up at 12: Am was good and fast. Wanted to try out the car it was new to the market so I got that and it had the leg room I needed. On my return it was an older woman who did her best and because I had a foot protector asked if I needed a ride to the airport. I took the shuttle but she really cared and had already asked. Customer service was not good. At pickup, customer service representative made it seem like I was required to have the insurance. I thought I had paid for everything up front then all of a sudden I have another $167 in insurance. It was very confusing. I will not be using Hertz again due to the fact it seemed like they were trying to get every cent out of you instead of working with you to give you a good car experience. If you pay ahead online they should not be trying to sell you more stuff at pickup that you don't need.Reviewed 9 Apr 2024

I was in and out of checkout in under 5 minutes. The car was clean and in excellent shape. Drop off took less than a minute. Each Hertz employee I spoke to was kind and courteous. Overall, very happy with this experience.Reviewed 13 Dec 2021

The Hertz office takes no phone calls unless the customer pays 5% of total bill as add on in order to have a call taken according to the answering recording. There was no clear way to request to retrieve personal keys that were left in car in error. The Mustang listed or comparable convertible is what I wanted - There was a Mustang and I had to pay an upgrade to get it, rather than the listed price otherwise I was to be assigned a Camaro convertible. I really wanted the Mustang for an event so I did what I had to do. We rode the train from Harrisburg Pa to pick up the car in Philadelphia Airport Hertz. I returned the car the next day and returned to Harrisburg via train. This is the only Mustang convertible we could find in the area so we were pleased at minimum to have access.
