The Nissan Rogue is a keeper. When traveling cross country from NY to MN, I hit a patch of rough winter weather. This vehicle performed beautifully and the Rochester Hertz gave it to me as an upgrade; so thankful for that. The one recommendation to Hertz that I would make: in addition to providing the street address for the Hertz counter associated with both pick-up and drop-off, provide the customer with additional information such as "at the airport, inside the terminal, near arrivals." Despite possessing an intimate familiarity with the MN location, I had difficulty locating the counter.Reviewed 11 Dec 2021

Pros:Clean vehicle.Cons:The car we were given had an expired inspection sticker. It was also difficult to pick up. Location did not answer 4 phone calls and ended up taking an hour to find their desk.Reviewed 17 May 2021

Pros:Friendly fast staff. Car was great except for one glaring issue that wasn’t the car’s fault, see below.Cons:Someone smoked a carton of cigarettes in this car and attempted to cover it up with Axe Body Spray. I learned of this when I started my seven hour trip to DC. I coughed and sneezed for the first hour until the cilia in my throat, mouth, and nose got enough of a coating to stop reacting. My face acquired a greasy film that required vigorous washing upon my arrival in DC. The car was awesome, but that smoke was terrible.Reviewed 16 May 2021

Pros:The staff was okay.Cons:The vehicle was very dirty - dog hair, grass, and crumbs all over. It also didn’t look as if the tank was completely full. I didn’t see the condition of the car in the dark parking garage. When I got home to pack the car - in a big hurry to get on the road - I saw the state of the vehicle. I didn’t have time to clean it before packing it to leave. It was really disappointing. I took pictures of the interior and exterior (dry bugs all over windshield) - and also a picture of the gas level. I busy moving my daughter out of state and haven’t had time to contact Hertz yet. Will likely not use Hertz again in the future.Reviewed 1 May 2021

Pros:Car was in clean condition overall.Cons:The inside of the car smelled like someone had recently tried to cover up the smell of cigarette smoke, but that’s only a small complaint. The main issue is that Hertz is slowing customers to book one-way cars with drop-off locations That have been shut down. When I arrived at my drop off location on time after 7 hours of driving, I found out that the location has been closed for several weeks and it’s not possible to leave the car there. I then had to sit on hold with poor customer service for 2 hours when they finally told me to call back tomorrow morning so they can then tell me where to leave the car...it’s yet to be seen if I’ll be charged extra for all of this. I will not be booking with Hertz ever again.Reviewed 30 June 2020
