Cons: Bed was a little on the hard side, no seat in the steam shower.

Cons: Exterior and the surrounding area are not as nice as we would have liked. But once you enter a room, everything changes.

Cons: Limiting coffee and tea in the morning to only one cup is cheap. They should include refills. I was happy to find out that they serve Canadian coffee roasters Kicking Horse Coffee. But only at a coffee shop. This makes it complicated for customers. Just serve the same stuff everywhere, and include refills at breakfast.

Cons: The resort is a bit far from the main strip in Niagara Falls. If you do plan on going to the strip, you'll have to drive (and pay for parking)

Cons: We had to rent a locker for our things at the water park because there were never any available chairs or tables. This worked out for the day we checked out but still wanted to swim. The lazy river had no order to it. There were a ton of empty tubes they ran us down at one point and instead of lazy, it was stressful. On the other side, when loading into the tubes, you wait off to the side at the stairs and wait for someone to unload or an empty tube to come around. Someone working at the park should be managing the loading and unloading of the tubes. The floor plan on the first floor by the water park needs work. It’s always congested.

Cons: I just wish they would have more activities for adults. It felt like it was all for kids. I would only recommend it for families with children and not for a young couple

In our case I changed the package 3 times and finally found the best deal on the Mariott website itself- over $120 cheaper and with more perks (casino coupon & dinner coupon). Room service - could be a bit more attentive as they responded to only one of the three requests (no big things).

Cons: Bathroom toilet was too small, not standard size. Wi-Fi should always be free for guest, shouldn't have to pay for something that is standard in other hotel chains. Parking was expensive!

Cons: The room could looked clean on arrival. Housekeeping didn't do as great of a job as I am used to on subsequent days. I wasn't thrilled with the extra parking fee and taxes - to me it would be better to include it in the overall price and not charge additional for parking.

Cons: A definite place to stay but do your homework first. The rooms are expensive, ask for anything that might be included! I asked and then recieved vouchers. Parking was outrageous at $35. Unless you have lots of dollars to throw around there might be a better deal around the corner.

Cons: A recent burst pipe flooded the lobby and first couple of floors a few weeks prior to our arrival, so a great deal of construction and renovations were underway during our stay. Drywall dust was everywhere in the lobby. But they explained why and the construction noise was not heard from our from at any time. Said they hoped to have it all complete by the next week

Cons: The pictures on-line were doctored to make it appear that the marriott was in fact in the location that is actually the fallsview casino. I chose the hotel and paid extra for the view but felt mislead by the photo online. Also I was not given marriott points for my stay because of booking through a third party. I won't do that again.

Cons: Need directions for getting from the Rainbow Bridge to the hotel. It was confusing. Cell service is expensive in Canada.

Cons: The hotel had several doors which said they could only be opened with a room key during the day and were locked between 12 am and 6 pm. This was not the case. I did not feel that the hotel was very secure, and being so close to a number of tourist attractions, this was worrisome. Although there may have been some confusion on our part, the hotel does NOT have an outdoor pool. Finally, although the lobby and main section of the hotel and newly remodeled, the section of the hotel we were in was in the back building, an older section that has not been remodeled. I do not know if this is due to the fact that we booked by a third party site, as the woman at reception pointed out at check in, or if this was just due to the amount of bookings. The newer section of the hotel was substantially updated compared to our area. We had a very old toilet, that actually need housekeeping attention during our stay, an extremely old shower head that did not really get all the shampoo out, and a faulty breaker that tripper while we were getting ready to go out.

Cons: Although i would recomend the hotel, our fridge was barely cold enough to mildly chill a bottle of wine, and the settings knob not surprisingly missing. The other fault was air conditioning unit unable to keep up with the 85+ weather outside. It was a tad warm on our stay

Cons: The only thing we didn't like was the bed. It was not very comfortable but it was ok for the 1 night.

Cons: I reserved a falls-side view, I went to the hotel really early to request a higher floor, they told me to come back around 3 pm. When I come back to get a room, I got the worst falls-side view, with no view of the river at all, it was on second floor I got parking view and some of the river which was covered by trees so could't see much. I am very disappointed as I was planning this trip to have a nice view as I thought will be, I guess I was wrong. And the furniture was so bad in this room, the coat rack was in the room, the tv stand was so bad, it was a big bulky cabinet that covered the view of the tv, you could watch tv only from the bed there is no angle view

Cons: Falls view wasn't impressive, we were on the 8th floor but there were still trees in the way of the view. If they are going to charge additional for falls view it should be the 10th floor or higher considering the trees.

Cons: They "upgraded" us in a room with a king sized bed that was actually a double bed made up for one adult. We had to call down twice for extra pillows. They actually put us in a wheelchair accessible room 421 with no tub, grab bars everywhere, and a chair in the shower. The water gets everywhere in the bathroom because there is no lip to keep the water in when we put the white towel on the floor to stop the water it turned black underneath from??? Dirty floors. There is no fan in the bathroom to remove the steam so when you shower it gets really hot and hard to breathe. Then, after you run the water there is this terrible rattling sound in the wall the pipes make. The dresser drawers are broken and hazards and never stay shut. When this was brought to the attention of staff upon checkout they basically apologized and said that "well we upgraded you, we would have put you on ground level outside in the motel next door with booking.com" because we only paid $265 for the night.. Who knew that the shitty motel next door to the hotel was actually a part of the hotel. It looks like somewhere you go to get murdered not a place you spend $300 bucks to stay. I suggest save your money and go somewhere else. Would only be worth it to spend maybe $50 but parking in itself is $25.

Cons: Was ok until elevator was out of order. Only has 2 elevators. One was out and we people had to wait up to 30 min to get in the only working elevator.

Cons: Had to go outdoors to get to breakfast (with hotel voucher)- the staff at the restaurant wasn't very friendly to foreigners. Parking was quite a walk for a solo mom with luggage and a 5 year old in the dark. For a newly renovated hotel, it shouldn't have patches in wall paper and flimsy bedding. It is over-rated. Paying for location.

Cons: Hotel rooms, could be a bit more updated. Views onto the falls is great! Don't book a breakfast in advance! I had it booked in advance, but it was so poorly done I ate just about nothing from it. After we complained we where directed to another BBQ Redtaurant across the Street. But it was barley better there. Go eat some where else!!!

Cons: There was construction going on in the lobby that was rather distracting, but theyre updating their hotel--I cant really complain about construction when we weren't using the lobby for anything but a walk through. The TV had barely any channels and they kept going in and out of fuss. But we werent there to watch TV we were there on vacation. A bit pricey but all hotels around there that are "nicer" are a little pricey and it was a Friday night so of course they raise the rates on weekends.

Cons: It wasn't worth the money at all. The room was dark, felt dirty. There were stains on the pillows, and had to kill a couple of bugs. Bathroom was dingy and dirty feeling. The place was overall very tired looking.

Cons: Everything else. Room was beaten down. $25 to park. No breakfast on site. The 14th floor nothing special. No free wi-fi. For the money they ask you're better off at one of the neighboring properties.

Cons: No refrigerator in room, no microwave, additional fee for parking, then no room in hotel lot to park. Ice machines only on odd floors of hotel. Staff unresponsive to concerns. Tourist trap, nothing included, everything required an 'upgrade'. Obviously not looking for repeat business.

Cons: Front desk was rude. They told me all the rooms are full and they cannot do anything. we arrived bit earlier as I was driving from USA. Front desk told me to wait until 3PM for the room instead of accommodating me at 2PM and they don't care how tired the guest is when they reach there after 8 hour drive.

Cons: The building itself is a bit dated but very much a decent value if you're not looking for fancy rooms and room service.

Cons: If you actually want a "view overlooking the Falls" be sure to book a room 7th floor or higher. My 5th floor "falls side view" was of the parking lot and trees. I went to the front desk to ask for with the view I thought I had paid for, and was offered a $50 (Canadian) upgrade. Talk about bait-and-switch. I felt ripped off. I would definitely call ahead to be sure to get a higher floor room... also be sure it is on the west side of the building.

Cons: We were given free breakfast passes for Applesbys which is located next door. When the waitresses saw that we had the passes we noticed how they treated us different - almost like we were a bother. One would think that this would be a golden opportunity for them to showcase the restaurant to possibly entice us to come back for lunch and dinner. After the way we were treated and the horrible quality of the eggs (dry & discolored) and the stained coffee cup we would never seek them out as a nice place to enjoy a meal. It was however awesome that the Oakes offered the free passes - Applebys just failed horribly!!!!

Cons: We booked a falls view and instead were put in a motel section with a view of a parking lot. The room was very hot, there were stains on the ceiling. When asked to be changed to a falls view room they simply moved us across the hall. Definitely not worth the 200$ Canadian for this stay

Cons: Hotel is merged and now connected with an older motel next door.) We do not recommend rooms in this wing. (room numbers above about 235,) as these require climbing two half-flights of stairs with your luggage, since the main elevators are located in more modern building.
