We were treated grossly unfair. Upon arrival I told them I lost my drivers license. Told me they had to cancel my contract and rebook it for twice the price with my wife. A 649.00 rental turned into 1100.00 rental. Suggested they take me off the primary driver and substitute it for my wife . Told me they could not do it. Made a 5pm reservation. Office was closed at 5pm. Sixt refused to refund me at first, then tried to subject me to a $200 cancelation fee because of their mistake, which was almost the entire rental price. They refused to put a manager on the phone after the customer service agent said that was my only option. What a joke, never going back. Had to fight for an hour to get my refund, and was still out over $100 just in Uber fees to pick up the vehicle in the first place.Reviewed 23 June 2025
