It needs to be explained better on which cars need a major credit card and which ones can be rented with a debit card. I reserved a rental for a trip and when I went to pick it up they denied it because all I had was a debit card. So unfortunately I wasn't able to make my trip. Pros:The drop off was the only easy part of this whole processCons:I stood in line for over two hours to get to the counter. The guy at the counter said that they didn’t use third party apps so he couldn’t honor the price on my reservation. When I called the next day to extend my rental one more day, the lady said that she couldn’t do anything over the phone and that I would have to go to a thrifty counter and do it there. The only thrifty counter that I found was in the airport and that was another hour and a half wait to be able to extend my rental. I will NEVER use Thrifty, Dollar or Hertz again.Reviewed 13 May 2021

Cons:Thrifty/Dollar rental service at IAH was ABOMINABLE. There was a line of at least 150 people when I got in line, and the line grew to over 200 before they brought in additional help. Most of the customers had pre-paid so they could not cancel. Thrifty/Dollar abused their customers because they could do so without fear of losing their prepaid business.
