They upsold without full information. The car was a tin car and cost more than a nice sedan in Scotland! It was not worth the money and I felt cheated by what I was given for what I paid.Reviewed 13 July 2026

Charged us a ridiculous amount of money for a 2 mm scratch on the rim of one tire which we claimed was there when we picked up. We didn’t think it at all significant to report at pick up. And now we are being charged for it which was always there.Reviewed 11 July 2026

The price was higher than advertised when I reserved. Insurance fee was also higher than what Kayak showed. Also the car was smaller (small SUV instead of an intermediate SUV) but at least it was new.Reviewed 5 July 2026

I needed to change the dates of my reservation, but was informed I needed to cancel and rebook. The website states free cancellation, however that is false advertisement. After multiple calls I was told I would get no reimbursement for my reservation. Do not offer free cancellation when you’re not going to honor it. I will not use Kayak again.Reviewed 4 July 2026

We reserved a mid size car. Upon arrival, only a large truck was available. For an extra $200, we were provided with a vehicle that we had originally confirmed. Weird.Reviewed 1 July 2026

I booked on Kayak and it states that it’s located in terminal. Which is false!!! You have to take a shuttle. I booked the managers special which should fit 5 passengers & 2 suitcases. The girl at the counter was very rude. She tells us that we will get the largest truck which is the managers special. We asked that because we don’t need such a vehicle and it would difficult to get around. She said it would cost $20 to cancel the reservation and a smaller car would cost more! We went ahead & took the TRUCK!!! It was filthy, the side mirrors kept moving when driving and the mirrors could not be adjusted electronically! This is a major hazard!
