The station did not remain open for our delayed flight. The next day we received an old model with a very high mileage. The seats were dirty. No screen wash.Reviewed 17 July 2026

Wasn’t so much the car but the company has been a nightmare to deal with. I hit a rabbit on the way home and I was NOT able to file an incident report no matter what I tried. The button for it would either not work OR I would be let to a page that said the link expired. I wound up having a $650 charge that I’ll now have to plead with whatever third party insurance thrust upon me to absolve. The entire experience of this has been nothing but hugely stressful on me and my finances. I can’t say I’d use kayak or hertz again in all honesty.Reviewed 16 July 2026

They upsold without full information. The car was a tin car and cost more than a nice sedan in Scotland! It was not worth the money and I felt cheated by what I was given for what I paid.Reviewed 13 July 2026

Charged us a ridiculous amount of money for a 2 mm scratch on the rim of one tire which we claimed was there when we picked up. We didn’t think it at all significant to report at pick up. And now we are being charged for it which was always there.Reviewed 11 July 2026

The price was higher than advertised when I reserved. Insurance fee was also higher than what Kayak showed. Also the car was smaller (small SUV instead of an intermediate SUV) but at least it was new.Reviewed 5 July 2026

I needed to change the dates of my reservation, but was informed I needed to cancel and rebook. The website states free cancellation, however that is false advertisement. After multiple calls I was told I would get no reimbursement for my reservation. Do not offer free cancellation when you’re not going to honor it. I will not use Kayak again.Reviewed 4 July 2026
