My experience here was terrible. Had asked for car pickup at 8am and only got it at 9am. The car was not ready and was being cleaned in front of us as we were walked over to it for pickup. During that time the executive there talked us unto removing our existing insurance and getting insurance directly through them which is something that could have been done prior to our arrival there as part of their customer care services instead of inconveniencing us while we were standing outside - as part of COVID regulations they don't allow you inside their offices anymore so we are standing out in the heat doing all this. When we got to the car, in front of us, their executive turned it on to read the gas mileage and then handed us the keys. When we sat in the car, the tire pressure and two other alarms lit up on dashboard. The fact that the executive tried to give us that car with all those things lighting up seems extremely careless and rudimentary. We had to walk back and let them know to then have them offer us another car. Where was that car? In another garage that would take according to them 5 minutes to get there but considering we already had waited an hour to get the first car, we were in no position to believe that 5 minutes was a true estimate of time. We left and cancelled our rental with them. Extremely unprofessional service and will certainly not be heading here anytime or referring anyone for business there either. This was an hour and a half of time wasted on our outward journey that was completely unnecessary and shouldn't have occurred at all.10.0 Wonderful

We specifically asked for cars near the airport, but we were directed to the company located in downtown. Had to cancel last minute and get the only available car at the lax location with double the priceSixt

We ended up never picking up our rental. We spoke to several people trying to receive a shuttle to the rental location, because the reservation email we had specifically said they were available as long as we called to ask for one. We were told that was impossible, the best they could do was extend our reservation window out an hour and wait for us. Not wanting to pay $50 for a cab we just made a new reservation with a different company, who came and got us in two minutes and had our fresh clean car to us ten minutes after that. We never picked up our rental.2.0 Poor

I would like to report budget for not letting me rent a car that I booked couple days in advance. I was planning a business trip to San Jose from Los Angeles. I booked a car for 1 pm, came at 12:58 pm and the guy just locked the door in front of me. I told him I had a reservation to which he friendly waved his hand and I didn’t see anymore. This tremendously impacted by whole trip. Everything was planned by hour and because of kayak and budget my entire day went off schedule which in its turn had a negative consequence of other people’s scheduled events. I had to find an immediate substitute for the rental. This is the worst experience I’ve ever had with renting a car and on kayak. This is NOT. Never renting from budget again. Kayak, I’m waiting for a compensation for this mistake.699 Rent-A-Car
