What was offered is not the same as advertisedPros:Van was spacious. Large cargo space.Cons:Van was old with 90k miles on it. AC grills at the passengers in the back were broken or removed. No air flow control. Gas tank cover was broken. Step to the rear passengers area was very high and difficult to claim and step out. My wife fell down from the step and injured her leg. Van had only 17gallons per mile. Advertised as 23. Mandatory insurance $29.99 a day, instead of advertised $11/day. We were told that it is because it’s a commercial van, but we never been told so in advertising.Reviewed 24 Nov. 2017

Below satisfactory rental experience - overallPros:They did have availability of the van. Ran well.Cons:wrong address was provided by Kayak. They gave us 15 seat passenger van with zero cargo space. They did not even tell us about this upfront. Also i had to wait 45 minutes at the rental space for them to finish cleaning up, and they changed the rental vehicle at the last minute. Van was not fully cleaned. The back seats were very dirty.Reviewed 4 Apr. 2018

This place was terrible!Cons:AVR was a terrible experience for me and I know a few others this weekend. There was probably about 12 other groups there waiting for their van. Apparently they were oversold and didn't have any vans at the rental office. They kept telling us that they were bringing some over from their overflow lot at the SJC airport, but after stringing me along for 2 hours and never getting a van, I had to cancel and leave without a van. They really ruined my whole plans.Reviewed 28 May 2017

Waste of TimeCons:I arrived to pick up my rental and was informed that they did not have the minivan that I had reserved online. Instead they asked me to choose a different kind of van a big van type not a minivan that I wanted.I left and went to another place and got the minivan that I wanted.Will not use them again.Reviewed 15 Nov. 2016

ScammedPros:The car had 4 wheels and an engineCons:This entire experience was a scam, the booking process as well as the email I received on booking claimed I was getting unlimited miles. It wasn’t until I got to the rental location that I was told, sorry only 200 miles original “check out fine print”. This is why I dont plan on using kayak again.Reviewed 26 Feb. 2018

Helpful staff and functional vehiclePros:The lady who attended to me was very helpful. She managed to sort the vehicleout and get us on our way quicklyCons:The van was a bit dated with 65k+ miles.
