Cons:The only issue with the rental was that it wasn't obvious that you had to go inside the airport to the rental counter to pickup the contract and keys there. Being a Hertz Gold user, I'm used to making business reservations online and just picking up the car and going. Not a big deal, but would have a saved a trip to the rental car garage.Reviewed 29 Aug. 2016

Gave me a rental car with zero gas @ an airport 30Pros:The car was niceCons:The airport representative was rude and ended up giving me a car on empty when the airport was 30 miles away from any gas station the night before a major hurricane was supposed to hit. I had to go to 7 different gas stations once I reached my destination on fumes! I couldn't find any gas stations at night so went to bed not knowing if I was going to be able to get gas the next day or break down trying. The next morning I woke up at 6am and luckily was able to get gas but WTF. Diane/ Dianna at the JAX Airport is a real piece of work and didn't even tell me the car had no gas in it. And at first she tried to put me in a minivan even though I reserved a small SUV. VERY UPSET.Reviewed 12 Oct. 2016

Quick Turn AroundPros:The Alamo staff was extremely friendly and prompt in processing the rental and directing me to the garage. It was a simple and easy process for a fraction of what the other rental companies were charging. I'd absolutely suggest Alamo to anyone else.Reviewed 21 Nov. 2016

Overall very goodPros:The vehicle and personnel were great.The major negative thing was not the fault of Alamo unless they could have accommodated a return to another location.Cons:As far as the cost I had to bump up to a Suburban for passengers and luggage to get form Jacksonville to Fort Lauderdale.Reviewed 16 Jan. 2017

Cons:No one felt the need to share with me that I couldn't rent with my Visa debit. I get to the airport to pick up my rental just to be told you have to use a major credit card. I was told I am sorry and there is nothing I could do the day of my trip. I reserved the vehicle in February and was disappointed and embarrassed in July. Never again.Reviewed 17 Jul. 2017
