Less than promised- not a Toyota RAV4 but a 2WD JePros:When our car was unsafe to make it over the mountain pass in snow, a local Enterprise dealer allowed us to drop it off without crossing the mountains. He suggested that we might get a more snow-worthy vehicle from Enterprise, but we did not pursue that and found alternate transportation.Cons:We expected and needed a 4WD SUV. The car provided at Sacramento was not that, and getting the type of vehicle we expected required an upgrade. So we took what was provided. But when it was time to return the car, the mountain passes required either 4WD or chains and we did not have that. Our rental was billed as RAV4 or "similar"..but similar meant just another vehicle of similar size, not one that performs as well.Reviewed 8 Mar. 2017

Pros:The car performed perfectly-- it was clean and got us all over California, Oregon and Washington in a week. It was a very comfortable car, even for my 6'1" husband! I would definitely rent form Alamo againCons:The only issues we had were with the hard push to upgrade when we picked up the vehicle, and the price. Pros:Unclear where I needed to go to pick up my reserved car (someone drove me in, I wasn't on an airport shuttle). Counter staff was friendly and tried the standard upgrade spiel. Though I declined to upgrade, I was given a complimentary upgrade anyway, which was much appreciated!Reviewed 19 Jan. 2017
