I did not get the car I had reserved. I reserved and paid for a standard SUV but instead was given a compact SUV. On top of that I was told at the counter that I was getting an upgrade. Definitely felt that this was very underhanded.

Car was clean Didn't like that the kayak listing said I could cancel for free after I paid approximately one month prior Then when I found a much better deal it wanted to charge me 100$ to cancel

Pick up shuttle and lines were horrendous. It look two hours from waiting for the shuttle then waiting in line to actually get in the car. The car had stains and my final receipt upon return was $150 more than I had already paid and was quoted upon booking.

Unexpectedly twice the price than expected. Was not clear on the cost of extras added on at the counter, some of which were unnecessary

Picking up the car took almost two hours, between child away install mishaps (wrong equipment for proper install at first) and upselling attempts, including saying Kayak’s insurance was “worthless” and needed to be in addition to coverage offered by Sixt. It felt like a used car lot.

The staff in both Denver for the pickup and Colorado Springs for the dropoff were excellent. The car was clean, roomy, and in great shape. I will use Enterprise again, no question.

the car insider wasnt as clean as expected, it was a Chrisler Pacifica and we found 2 empty bottles of water and monster drin in the 3rd row .

Could have told us about their policy of not renting larger vehicles to Colorado residents when we reserved the car so we could have reserved a car elsewhere

The first person who assisted me was very nice and help me getting a better car for the snow so I upgraded to a 4x4 SUV my rent

Cons:

having the car clean no with mud and dust and papers and stuff inside plus with wash fluid because at the middle of my trip from Denver to Vail I got the low wash fluid sign the first time I used it so obviously before getting to Vail I ran out of wash fluid in the middle of a snow storm which made the beginning of my trip very dangerous because of a lack of supervision from your company which delivered a car which has recently dropped at your facilities, very bad honestly.

The Pick up experience took over an hour from the shuttle dropping me off at the rental facility, to being taken to the car. it appeared as if there was no plan to help the volume of customers arriving in the late Friday evening, even though this is ski season and they knew full well the number of renters who would arrive. In addition, the people at the check in counter aggressively upsold, convincing me that I should pre-pay for a full tank of gas when that was not the best thing for me. They also tried to up sell me on vehicles. I will not be using EZ car ever again

No one took responsibility. Nothing about the reservation could be changed in advance. EZ tried to cheat me into upgrading. Customer service is awful.

1. I was upsold a 4wd bc the worker told me I would get turned around in Colorado for having 2wd, and was misinformed of the price too (there was no checkpoint, didn’t need it, paid more than what I was told) 2. The car pick up took way too long, apparently it was everyone’s first day so in training (literally, they told me) 3. I was OVERcharged and not given back a refund/credit 4. The shuttle driver wasn’t very friendly either 5. Needs a big change in management to salvage company reputation and operational efficiency

The car i rented was running on some old tires. Two front tires wire was coming off. I had to go to the tire shop to switch out the tire, put my trip on hold. I was suppouse to go skii that day but i couldnt. Very dissapointed.

My experience with Dollar was very good overall, but the brakes needed replaced on the Ford Edge that we rented, and no credit was given for that.

Pros:

I guess with no one wanting to work, this is the new normal. There must have been a hundred people when we walked in the office. 2 people working. We waited an hour and heard rumblings that they were out of cars. 4 hours later we were pulling out of AVR with a car, which had stayed open late and another employee that had already clocked out came to the airport and picked us up. YAY AVR!!!

Pros:

I didn't rent a car from Dollar. Their line was more than two hours long. After that, there would have been an hour wait for a car to be cleaned to become available. I rented a car from National next door to Dollar. It took less than five minutes to get in a car and drive away.

Cons:

Dollar was understaffed and overbooked. They completely wasted my time.

Staff in Denver and Las Vegas were helpful.

Cons:

It was kinda unclear where to go in Denver. The busses weren’t running as much and it was 27° outside. Maybe ask Denver airport to do a better job.

Terrible customer representatives at counter. Two didn’t know how to use the reservation confirmation number from a third party booking service. When their manager showed them, he pulled another woman who had a similar issue in front of me. I obliged patiently. But, when the next counter agent was free, she wouldn’t serve me as I was next in line as she said “he was taking care of me.” He was busy with the woman who I let step in front of me while he figured out how to complete a transaction from a third party. This happened two times befween tbe same two counter agents and it was absolutely ridiculous. If it weren’t Christmas I would have lost my temper. As it played out, my SUV didn’t have four wheel drive - a necessity for traveling into the heart of Colorado’s Rocky Mountains in December. Further, they charged me for fuel when it was returned full. And I was also overcharged by $16 for fees and taxes that differed from my Rental Agreement issued at the counter. I’ll never book with Thrifty again. The small savings I may have incurred at booking were more than consumed by the excessive time I wasted waiting for cobbler service and subsequent communications about being overcharged. And to cap it all off, the Jeep Patriot had an annoying rattle in the rear of the car which was not fixable for my entire four day rental.
